Yes sand in flip flops counts.

Unfortunately for them I have met some people who have felt inadequate because of the work they do, and would like to do things considered to be more exciting. Personally I think their feelings of inadequacy are misplaced for I often thought whislt under mortar attacks how nice a warm office would be!!

The grass often does seem greener but to be honest we should all be glad of what we have and not spend our days wishing our lives away

Well because im a mean employer I dont pay very well, Besides that I target illegal immigrants so I can exploit them, so many of them dont speak much english. Cant be bothered about there welfare really just hate the stink.

I somehow get the feeling that this thread is now (well has been for a while,) being trolled, and a certain respondent has never been in the army.

Because if they have, they are expressing the exact same attitude that others in this thread complain that the disreputable minority of the armed services have.

You obviously have very little sence of humour. I suspect you are referring to my military service when you say certain respondent. Well 22 years is quite some service.
