Excellent Cocker........makes this e-mail to them which I have just sent ( they still fail to provide a CCA from Citi after 5 months ) even better!
THIS E-MAIL IS FOR THE ATTENTION OF
Mr M Cleary
Mr R Kingdon
Mr M Hawker
Dear Sirs,
I refer you to my correspondence file with your Company dating back to September 08. In particular I refer you to the correspondence during February and March of this year.
Mr Hawker does not seem able or willing to deal with this matter sensibly.
When I write to the Managing Director of a Company I would expect to recieve a reply from same.
You have had ample opportunity to resolve this matter, I have pushed my own deadlines back enough to times to give you time to respond but you still fail to do so.
I have complied with your Complaints Procedure at all times. You have failed to provide me with a satisfactory response and so ON FRIDAY 17th APRIL this matter WILL be referred to The Financial Services Ombudsman and your local Trading Standards Office.
More importantly the time-line of our correspondence, telephone calls and e-mails will be forwarded to The Office of Fair Trading ( with a separate copy for Ray Watson, OFT Director for Consumer Credit ) where I am sure that it will provide interesting reading for the Team in Room N already involved in investigating your Companys' behaviour.
You may contact me by e-mail up to 4pm on Friday in which you may wish to discuss the remedy offered in the final paragraph of my letter of 27th March 2009.
Ignorance of this e-mail may be used against your Companyin any further correspondence with any 3rd party neccessary.

Hi all,
Just a quick update from me.
1st Credit are now in default of my recent SAR request. They did reply with some douments, but failed to provide the exact copy of the original credit agreement.
Just sent them a response to their non compliance and stated that unless it is sent to me within the week, they are being removed from my DMP.
Lets see if that sparks them into life........
I've just got a feeling that this is going to end up in court, but i'm up for the fight!
Bring it on!!!

I'm still waiting for a CCA from my request last september. They themselves have said that my accounts are on hold until such time when they can produce them.
I'm still repaying them through my DMP with CCCS. i would to (and think its within reason??) stop these payments purely because they have no evidence to back this debt up and the amount of grief they caused me last year before i came on here for help. Only thing is i'm not sure if ive got the balls to go through all the calls, stress and threats again.0 -

Hiya,
I know what you mean with this.
They have finally "accepted" my DMP too and was wondering whether it was best to rock the boat.
It is a final straw with me though. They still haven't fulfilled my CCA request made in October, yet they rekon that they have. All they do is quote the 1983 regs and insist that they have met all their obligations.
This is why I sent them a SAR request as they have to provide an exact replica of the credit agreement. They've sent me everything else, but not that. I thretened all sorts of legal stuff but nothing budges them, so this is the last chance really.
I really dont want to mess my DMP around, but i've been left with little choice. I've given them until Friday to send it. The thing is if they had a enforceable agreement, I'm sure they would have sent it, so..................................
I wonder how far along the court route they would go if they think they wont win. I'm really tempted to call their bluff!
I'll keep you posted.

Afternoon all,
Not been much activity on this thread for a while! Are 1st Credit finally playing fair with everyone?
Anyway, I have received a strange email from 1st Credit today (Yes Sunday) asking me to contact them on blah blah blah as they need to discuss my account. The rekon that they have tried to contact me and have left a message. However, they haven't phoned me for about a year now, so i'm a tad confused!!!
I have just upped my payments to them through my DMP, so thought that it was maybe just about that, but they normally go through my DMP company.
This is also the first time that they have used email to contact me, as they usually just write.
There is also a link attached to the email containing details of their new online payment facility.
Anyone had a similar email sent by them recently?

Errr...as if Worst Crudit ever play fair or ever will. They are a law unto themselves and always will be.
Can't help with the email as I've not heard from these sharks for almost a year either (and I live quite close to them too!). They hate me...am I bovvered...???
As you've upped your payments, they probably think that they can bully you even more.
Sorry can't help.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

We have just upped our payments to 1st credit and have also left CCCS and going it alone.
So far I have to say 1st credit have been fine, they have not once pressured us into increasing it anymore. The only thing was we received a letter advising they were commencing legal action but OH called them and they said that this letter was generated before we had finalised our increased payments to them and they would only be starting the legal action had our payments remained at the lower level.
I have also noted that since we have increased the payments 1st credit have changed OH credit file to show £0 outstanding this in turn has reduced his overall outstanding credit on his credit file by £13K.
Although they have actually defaulted these accounts which I know is incorrect as the original crediters defaulted us so 1st credit cant but have not yet got round to writing to them to get he defaults removed. I was waiting for our new payments to be sorted first.February 2013 NSD - 40
