Is that the one at the petrol station? I use that sometimes when in a hurry, but know most of the prices are higher than the usual tesco... thanks for the tip - makes Co-op look cheapworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi I really need some urgent advice. I have been emailing Brighton tourist information and seem to be going round in circles:eek:
I am looking for a cheap hotel/guest house in the kemptown(? sorry can't access the information I have already got) as near to the Brighton Done as possible.(for the 30th Oct.)
However the problem is I need something with as early check in as possible. Has to be safe( lone female ) all I need is a bed and shower or bath. I will be travelling through the night from the Ipswich so will be very tired!!
Failing that has anyone any ideas or suggestions of what I can do till I can access the accommodation?
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. Never been to Brighton before and am really looking forward to it!.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

This one has fairly good reports from friends who have had relatives stay there.

No too sure about the area though, as regards safety etc, but it is about 10-15 minute walk from the Dome, and if worried you can always get a bus up from the Steine as there's several that go up past it (only about 3-4 stops on the bus).
No idea about check in.
Rubbish area to park in though, if you are bringing a car - not many spaces and all meter or residents(unless the hotel has special vouchers for guests).

try the cosmopolitan, in new steine - near seafront, late-ish small residents bar (is should know- had delivered enuff blooming pizzas there!). no idea on prices tho..
thwre are several others in that road, or russell sqaure (behind the churchill shopping centre - big NCP close by..)
there are new hotels in central brighton- one at the rail station (name??), and myhotel in jubilee street- underground parking, zilli cafe/restaurant as well..
cctv is everywhere in town, so fairly safe- just steer clear of West Street on the weekend evenings!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

The one in North Street closest to the Dome is a Premier Inn (not travelodge as I thought)
That's just the other side of the Pavilion grounds so really close to the domeworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
