Sorry it's a bit short notice, but Borders has a free comedy show on at 4pm today.
First attempt at a link, hope this works.

Just seen this thread, having ventured away from the Voucher threads for a few minutes. Hello to all you other Brightonians & Seagulls fans! :T :j

My Mum still lives in the Brighton area so sometimes I pop down there to visit her and the local shops of course (better than where I live over the Hampshire border). I was in Brighton only last week and got some bargains.

Did anyone else get to Clinton's cards in Churchill Square on Friday - they were closing their old store (bigger new one opened below) and everything in the old store was 20p each!!!!!!!!!!

I was in there for an hour and I have enough Birthday cards to last about 3 years now.:D

    Welcome coupon-mad & Juli!

Just thought I would drop in and say that on the Freebies board, there is a thread just for codes to see free movies. I just got myself 2 tickets to see Brad Pitt & George Clooneys new movie, at the Duke of Yorks this coming Sunday - double the tasty fun ha ha... MrEL won't have a choice!

In terms of Clintons, darn it, I missed that sale - wish I had known, then again, I was in London all day so it would have been hard to get there.

Also to say that we should all use www.fixtureferrets.co.uk to see deals and maybe we could then remind eachother about them on here? You can see the deals for Sainsburys for example, then sort by BOGOF etc. I find it a useful tool... Costs barely anything to join and when you work out the cost per month it's def worth it.

Somerfield have their mince at £1.75 again, although this isn't quite as good as their £1.50 deal when it's on offer. Maybe it will be £1.75 from now on... They are also still, I think, doing the salmon at £2.29.

Sainsburys HAD some deals on £1.99 red wine, but when we waltzed past they had all gone on Saturday, I guess we should have known earlier!

Hi all just a bump to say that veggie man on Portland has tomatoes today, big bowl outside are softer vine ones, boxes inside are firmer cherry ones. Also red chillies, which I bought to freeze as this works well.

Could I freeze ginger, maybe garlic?

Hi brightonman123 that's fab thanks - wonder if it helps you, you can click on the lower right where it says 100% and you could have it zoom at 125% for example?

I like the idea of those, have already put MrEL down for the Lurve walk, he just doesn't know it yet...

Hi, You can definitely freeze ginger, I did a Chinese cookery course where the teacher suggested it.

Just bought the biggest lot of ginger for £1 - around 480g so close to £2 for 1 kg which I am sure is cheaper than the supermarkets... he also said that it lasts for 3 months as it is, so no need to freeze unless I really had to - I guess I can do so if we need space though.

Somerfield still doing the £2.29 salmon, not sure about the lean mince for £1.75...
