Someone has mentioned that face wipes are good for 3 months once opened, but how long are they good for unopened? I'm assuming about a year?
I've gotten a lot of the TD wipes, which are nice, but not my favs. I'm considering getting more No7 wipes when they go 342 and using my pinky + SS spits, but I've got to figure out how much I can realistically store, lol (I also have some Olay and Botanics wipes put back). So I will be giving a load of TD wipes to my mum and sis. If they'll all be good for about a year if unopened, I'm golden, lol.
Just had a quick look through my wipes stash...
As has been mentioned before, look for a picture of an open pot on the packaging, next to this should be a figure, eg 3M, this tells you how long the product stays fresh for after opening.
TD wipes say 3 months, Boots Cucumber wipes and No7 Quick Thinking are 6 months, Olay wipes 12 months, according to my stash
I've just opened a pack of TD wipes that I bought in January this year and they seem fine, moist and smell fresh. Also I have an unopened pack of RoC wipes which have an expiry date of Sept 2010, if that's anything to go by then wipes should be good unopened for two years after purchase.
My guess is that they can start to deteriorate after the packaging is opened as air gets into them, plus moist environment, risk of contamination from fingers etc means it's possible that bacteria can breed in them, hence a use by date after opening.0 -

Hi All
I went to Boots in Watford yesterday and it was funny to see such a hive of activity. All women standing in front of aisles with their £5 off facial products or £5 of No 7 looking to see what they could get. One woman said, I am not just buying something because it is on special offer unless I really need it! Welcome to MSE!
I "spent" most of my till spits and No 7 and asked the lovely SA if I could do multiple transanctions to save me queuing multiple times which she said was fine.
Got No 7 moisturising gloves, thank you to the poster on this forum who mentioned them. I suffer from very dry hands and although they have not yet made my hands the softest I would like them, they have helped rehydrate them a bit. I will continue to use them nightly.
I got into bed yesterday and said to DH, oh, I forgot my gloves. When I got back into bed, he was all excited and said, what gloves are those? Obviously had something kinky in mind, (Pash... warning you.:-) ) Because when I told him I got them free and they were for moisturising my very dry hands, he very disappointedly said, oh, is that all, thought you were putting the marigolds on something, was getting very excited.... hmmmm.
Couldn't get any of the R & M makeup to go through with No 7 voucher, even though tried 2 different SA's, as till beeped, they said, sorry, no.
Got a No 7 eyeliner, paid the difference and used 250 points back from GWP, so quite pleased with that.
Got No 7 rainbow eye palette x 2 reduced so used voucher.
No 7 quick Think 4 in 1 wipes and paid the difference
Time Delay Toner, Cleanser and wipes. Only used TD coupon one for extra points, as splitting transactions, didn't want to be embarassed, with how did you get so many.
3 x Sanctuary Charcoal masks, which I was told only could buy 1 off, but advised Harrow, tell me to buy 3 and pay difference, so SA did and was suprised.
I also bought Hipp Baby Food, and it was on offer £2 for any 6 jars, but noticed when got home, got charged per jar, so need to email CS about this.
Also bought DS a potty! Brilliant night, he loved the potty, played with it, smiled at it, etc. Took his nappy off, sat him on potty, yes, that's great. Made the wee wee noise. Great, DS got bored, climbed off, sat on the floor and a few minutes later weeweeded. Ok, no problem, clean that up. A few minutes later, try potty again, same as before, sat on it, noise, got bored. Sat on carpet, 10 minutes later, weeweeded! Did this 3 times, before I gave up on idea for the night and put nappy back on.
It is going to be great fun doing this potty training. LOL. DS seems happy with idea of it though, playing with it this morning.
Broclo, or any other mum, when your darling baby was teething, did you find your carpet was soaking wet when you walked on it, or have I got a problem with my rented accommodation? Ok, not soaking wet, but wet enough that when you stood on it, you thought something had been spilt there?0 -

good luck with the potty training, we had wee EVERYWHERE when DS was learning, took him a couple of MONTHS to get his head around it! (He was 2), he was not a big dribbler though-not like my DD who leaves puddles on the floor!!
Can't get to boots today, am working, but found a load of TS serum in Truro the other day, was thrilled with my haul, there even had TD wipes!!:T0
