I got a survey yesterday! Just done it online. Fingers crossed and all that.....Anyone on here ever won? I didnt actually spend cash yesterday. Used 2 pinkies for 2 £5 ruby and millie eye brushes, the assistant kindly put them through seperately for me.

I used ss tills for first time yesterday at Fort Birmingham and used TS mag coupon no problem - although don't ask about the rest of my shop .....was so stressed vowed to never use ss tills again:rotfl:
What happened ?? Do tell. I'm always debating whether to use SS tills if I go to a 'mega-boots' but seems stressful.

It was my first ever visit to the Fort and I think the ss tills are new there.
So got a few bits , ts, mitchum, r&m brush etc.

Put through my shopping, brush wouldn't scan so sa came and input the code.
then came time to scan vouchers..........
ts scanned - no problem - starting to think oooooooo LIKE THIS:D
but then pinky wouldn't scan , sa came over and was messing about for ages, still didn't scan so she said carry on and i'll sort it in a bit........
mitchum then wouldn't scan (broclos cleaned up ones too!), so sa fetches supervisor, then had the whole you can't use photocopied vouchers discussion and in the end gave up and said ok no problem, I'll just leave it then.............big mistake, it then took THREE sa's ages of pi$$ing about to void it off:eek:
at this point I was sweating buckets and wishing I'd just gone to normal tills,
but all ended well as I got my pinky back even though it had scanned:D

My sister chickened out and put her basketful of stuff back!!:rotfl:
  • Also forgot to say only used ss tills in hope of wombling some spits :D, but sa was like a little whippet............woosooooosh.......... and all leftovers were scooped up in a flash and binned:eek:

These were marked at 38p on SEL in a local yesterday, probably because they're HUGE lol and heavy.

    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=8710&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

Not sure if they'd look any good in hampers but good if you're working on a shoestring.
