Thanks Geordie_Lass. Daddy does show DS how to be a boy when going to toilet, and he is fascinated by it. Problem we have is DS hates wearing his nappy, he has actually learnt to pull off tags and then crawl out of nappy, if I don't put a vest on. He also scratches himself really badly when we take his nappy off, as if it irritates him, and I have tried all brands.

We thought we would try the potty and see if he takes to it, then he can come out of nappies. I try and leave his nappy off a few times a day and just clean up any mess he makes. If he doesn't, then will carry on using nappies but just wanted him to stop being uncomfortable.

Did you find when your children were teething they dribbled all over your carpet so it felt wet wherever you walked? Trying to work out if DS is dribbling saliva or we have a problem with damp in carpets.

Hun have you tried washable/reusable nappies ?? i know they dont suit everyone but always worth a go if baby isnt comfy in disposables.
im not allowed to say what i think so ner!:p

    The ingredients are -
Bottom tier of size 3 nappies, other tiers size 1 nappies.
    2 packs of huggies wipes
    2 pairs of disney socks
    1 Ellie ellephant teddy
    1 Johnsons baby pack
    4 Muslin squares
    1 pack of soothers

There were over 150 nappies in total.
I was a bit worried that it would look a bit odd as one of the tiers is kind of square (the wipes) so glad everyone likes it.

it looks fab GG, can I ask what have you put around each "tier" so that you cannot see the nappies.. (ps I have the same silver ribbon and blue curls to go on mine lol!) :rotfl:
    TIA X

Yes, mine were dribbly, always had wet vests etc. I can't say that the carpets felt particularly damp though. Did you check in areas where he can't crawl, under furniture etc. to see if it's damp there?

Might be worth giving re-useable nappies a go if your babe is uncomfortable in disposables or try the pull ups, at least he won't be able to destroy them so easily. I used to put disposables on back to front on one of my boys so that the tabs were at the back where he couldn't reach them as he was always trying to take his nappies and clothes off :rotfl:
not so easy these days though as they are specially shaped and padded to fit specifically boys or girls.

    Hi All

I got into bed yesterday and said to DH, oh, I forgot my gloves. When I got back into bed, he was all excited and said, what gloves are those? Obviously had something kinky in mind, (Pash... warning you.:-) ) Because when I told him I got them free and they were for moisturising my very dry hands, he very disappointedly said, oh, is that all, thought you were putting the marigolds on something, was getting very excited.... hmmmm.

why do I always get the blame ... come back (mini baby) belle!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

there was a pink pram in westfield derby on thursday. didnt go in there today but will have a look tomorrow and will pm you if i see anything.

yummymummy, ive been to westfield and there isnt any prams. not much baby stuff either, most of it has been cleared off the selves.

there are 6 max factor GWP on top of the mf counter. i didnt pick any as was already doing liplicious combo and didnt want to draw attention. can derby boosters please leave one for me as going back tomorrow. it is the pink/black rectangular one.

also there was quite a few td bags the mens stripped one, lable said £15 but i know peeps have been getting these at £3.50. didnt price check.

the small boots outside westfield (opposite big post office) had no7 stuff on clearance. i used my spits to get mousse foundation & essential foundation they still have plenty left. have now run out of till spits but will have to go in tomorrow and do some proper spending.

I'm not brave at all. I only had the nerve to do this once:D ...there's always tomorrow though;)

    you're the brave one clare+3:D 29 transactions, wow!:T

For "brave" in a description of me, replace with "mad" or "obsessed" perhaps!

Tried to get one Mitchum and use both the 50% and £1 off vouchers today - with some other shopping - but SA read the vouchers and said the usual "one per transaction", so no go for me. Don't think she would have taken 3 vouchers for three mitchums in one go, either. I also had problems getting the free 17 Dazzle dust - even though I'd spent £3.79 so it should have all been done by the till automatically. . Supervisor had to over-ride the till, dunno what that was all about. No Ts serums left, sob!

Time for a cuppa and a catch up.....
