  • I said in the first post dont totally rate all the items from these but last time thay did £1 drops they sold some rubbish but also some great products eg cameras, mobiles and even tvs for a pound but you have to be really quick. I have brought some stuff of this company but i always look at the price and add £10 for postage and call charge and then think is it a good deal.
If ive helped click thanks it will make me smile :D

Like you elfmay my elderly mother in law is addicted to the shopping channels and has spent thousands on things she does not have any need for. When she moved house recently we found 84 pairs of shoes and 6 hoovers plus dozens of other useless items (all still unused in boxes) No doubt she will be on this bidup programme all weekend. Nightmare!!

Oh come on, does nobody watch bid.tv for the fun of it.. it's usually absolute tat but oh dear god i've laughed so hard at peter simon...

    Not bad £1 + P and P for a Sony Ericcson W310i

When it was Bid up TV I did (where the bidding started low and went on till time ran out or they got to the real price they wanted for the item in the first place.

I used to play a game see how high I could bid (online) without actually buying the item. £1 under a good win however I did lose 4 times and I am the proud owner of 2 cheap polo club sets of luggage, a cutlery set and still not used a knife set in a briefcase, my son calls it my murder kit! all fairly cheap and all fairly nasty but nothing that cost me more than £25. At least I can use the luggage sets without worrying about it! One day i will ebay that knife set if its still legal to do so!

Anyone for a gemstone globe? they used to go on bid-up tv for over a £1000 could not believe it, £5.99 in a market and I would pass them by!
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
