Its bid tvs 8th bithday to celebrate they are having £1 mega drops every weekend this month.
Tune into bid tv throughout September for £1 Megadrop Madness – there are 1000's of bargains to buy for just £1. Don't miss out, join £1 Megadrop Madness on bid tv throughout the day every weekend in September and get more for just £1.
£1 Auctions/Megadrops Terms & Conditions:
To be included in the sale, pre-bids must be ABOVE the 'now at' price when the Megadrop is announced. Pre-bids BELOW the 'now at' price when the Megadrop is announced will not be included in the sale. sit-up channels also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or refuse bids and bar the accounts of customers who win more than one £1 Auction/Megadrop during any one week
I never have any luck with these mega drops they sell out within seconds and i think they make a lot of money out of the phone calls but if you can get one it can be a great bargin. Just remember to add on the postage about £8 i think.

I managed to get a garden cherub for £1 & postage
but it was far bigger than I expected - a good bargain
and I've not had any problems with Bid up TV ............. I've returned goods etc and no problems ...........
I see garden cherubs etc in the pound shops all the time! How much was the postage again? About £7.99?
Sorry but had nightmare trying to get elderly relative to stop calling and bidding on these types of channels. She was convinced she was getting 'bargains' (based on RRP's which I think are shown in the old Italian Lira with a '£' sign stuck in front instead! ) Once you add up the cost of call and P&P she was getting some awfully expensive TAT!**************************************
I need someone really bad! Are you really bad?

Last year I managed to get a couple of mega drops
I have bought about 10 leather bags from bid tv or price drop tv which have been excellent value and the most I've paid for any one is £30 and as little as a tenner including the delivery on both and 2 of these have been large weekend bags. They have consistently been good quality and value and you'd be hard pressed to get this value for a leather bag on the high street.
I've also bought egyptian cotton bedding and towels that have been really good value too.
I do think you have to be selective with what you buy. There is definately some tat on there and the people who are buying that might need a visit from the taste police anyway:p
I almost always buy online to bypass the £1.50 telephone charge and yes the delivery charge is very high but you have to look at this in the total that you are paying and judge whether it is still worth it.0 -
I can't stomach their smarmy presenters a NO...NO for me.
Usually over-priced junk anyway.0 -
