Oh SC I am sorry to hear that. Really hope you are all better soon. Are you symptoms quite bad or quite mild? How are the kids doing? Is your OH helping out or what?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning SH, Cas and IRISHCHICK!!
Cas, I hope you are recovering and that you are getting some time to rest and not having to nurse everyone else!
SH, how are you?
Irishchick, welcome back. How is life and debtbusting going for you?
I am working at home today but instead I have put on two loads of washing, done online banking, tidied up...etc. etc.

I'm okay. Still fed up about the job situation and money in general but I'm managing. I did belly dancing this week which was fun and got me out of the house and went out one night with a friend too. I have also started to write a story in the hope that it is better use of my time than all the net surfing I have been doing!

Well the time my family and I have been dreading has arrived, my dear brother aged 42 was taken into the hospice yesterday and we have been told he has only days left to live. I feel numb and so terribly sad. He is so drugged up at the moment we cannot talk to him, because he isn't waking and I fear he won't again.
The ironic thing is that he is in the same room at the hospice that my eldest brother died in.
I am having totally irrational mood swings and my mind is playing tricks on me. I keep calling my DS aged 14 by my brothers name!!
My SIL had to sit their ten year old daughter down last night and explain the situation, they hadn't done so yet because they thought they had more time. He has just got very, very ill in the last week. It broke my heart to see that darling little girl try and be brave.
I am off work today because I just cannot concentrate on anything, I have been up to the hospice and found myself not wanting to sit there just staring at him. Came home to do some work and instead I have been doing anything but.
It is a cruel, cruel world.
