I have the biggest pile of ironing to do today but so far I have managed to resist:D
have just got up and feel so tired, its almost like I am more tired when I get up than when I go to bedI dont know why, but having spoken to friends they are all the same too
house to clean today , its a mess
pork chops a la delia for lunch
might have a go at doing another basket today if I have the time / motivation
hope you are all ok0 -
Hi Cas and all who visit Ruby's diary
I have given up ironing and no one seems to have noticed! I am in the middle of making a shopping list but not really thrilled by the process. Trying to meal plan too but no inspiration. Would like to do Christmas cake and pudding - will add ingredients to my list, thanks for prompting me.
Hope your day gets brighter. Am going to see if ANOTHER cup of tea makes a difference to my get up and go!

xGetting there...slowly!
GC : must do better
NSD: very rare
No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.0 -
I too will be doing ironing again today.... i have managed to avoid it this morning by focusing on DD's homework and talking on the phone, but I can put it off no longer!!
My DH and DS are glued to the tv watching rugby and DD and I are in the other room, so I have no excuse but to get the ironing board out and work my way through the massive pile whilst watching corrie or eastenders omnibus!!
YB, glad to hear you are better and remember you are not alone on this debt free journey.
SC - I have only ever made one xmas cake, but you have inspired me so thinking I might give it a go.... X-FACTOR, I think the wrong person left, Laura is so much better than that Rachel and Daniel!!!! What do you think? do you have a favourite? I would love JLS to win.
SH, it must be a worrying time for you however I am impressed at how you seem to be coping with it.
OK.... I can put it off no longer.... ironing here I come.

Hi - you've just reminded me I haven't even started washing the school uniforms yet - I normally start doing the washing Friday night so I haven't even begun yet but then again some of the washing from last week hasn't been put away yet either! I don't think they would be too impressed on the flylady thread...
I have nearly finished my mum's present and if I can find one of the things I bought a few weeks ago for my nephew his present is bought too! Not started the snowcones yet.
I've agreed with my DS that I will give him his pocket money as a lump sum once a month. The hope is that he will waste less of it. What is good is he is about to go bowling with a friend - out of his money - result!
