    Hiya

Yes I am still here thanks! I am just so all over the place right now, was awake half the night. I have sent an email to payplan with a ton of questions. Hubby will have a phone call from them tomorrow about his situation. My biggest hugest worry is if we have to go bankrupt. And losing the house. It has, well had, £20k equity in it a couple of years ago and I am terrified it will have to be handed over to an OR............and we would be homeless. The council area I live in has a policy of rehoming asap and hubby is trying to put my mind at rest but it is so so difficult!I have tried understanding about beneficial interest and it is just swimming round my head right now.

Can anyone explain that to me please?

    1 step
Hi 1 step - You may need to post on the bankruptcy board (at the top of the DFW board) to get specific advice about bankruptcy. Not having been in that position - I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question. Keep strong, there will be light at the end of the tunnel one day...

Well I have now updated my CV and sent it to 9 specialist agencies! (They hate it when we do that... they like to think they are the only ones we are with. I wouldn't mind but once I have the contact details there are at least another 4 I should update my CV with....

I'll let you know tomorrow whether I get any response from that. I'm applying for local roles for now as obviously I don't know whether the other move will come off yet as we would have to have a joint interview for that too... (ask me no questions I'll tell you no lies)

    Bye all

  • Hi All!

Sorry its been a while, have been up to my eyes!

SH, am thinking about you and your big life decision but be assured, all things happen for a reason and whatever happens, is meant to be! I really believe that and live my life by that rule.

Went shopping at w'end for Xmas pressies and got great bargains in Primark! God Bless primark! My DD's will be delighted! Spent about £100 and got loads of clothes, pj's etc. Just 1 thing left for each to get and they pick that themselves!

Feel totally PMT also! How weird! I am not worth living with at the moment, poor OH and kids! Going home from work to bed! Dinner and housework can go to pot!

    Chat later!

  • Thank you and good luck with your agencies............
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • Evening ladies,
Just been reading through my posts and feel like I ought to say sorry for always whining and moaning!!! And thanks for sticking around.

SH, I wish you every success in your new job search and your possible house move.

IC, I love the sound of all your presents, we don't have a primark in my city I have to travel 25-30 miles for one so never seem to get there.

YB and SC - how are you both?

Istep, how are things going with your dmp,iva etc? Have you thought about getting a 2nd opinion on whether a dmp might suit you? I have read a couple of times on these boards that with a bit of juggling of numbers it can work. Maybe try CCCS?

Off to make some supper now and watch eastenders. I managed a NSD today so feeling brighter again.

    xxxxx

Hi all hope you are all doing well debt-busting!

Job situation looks brighter today - hopefully I've been panicking for nothing. My payrise has also been confirmed so that's great but not as high as I was after. A lot more than I would have got if I hadn't asked tho. Dropped a meal off at my friend's earlier. I'm off out tonight with a friend just to have some R&R and hopefully dump pmt blues and get some perspective back!

HI all - where are you all?

Doing quite well this week - no takeaways - I did visit au naturelle tho and spent some money on finished baskets type things but also got some good deals on household products...

I got my childcare bill today - they owe me over £170 :j I will continue over-paying for now as I'm told after a while they refund it (potentially saving NI and tax):money: It also means if I am unlucky enough to lose my job we can keep the childcare place for my DD for longer (making it easier to find next job).

    Bye bye

  • Dear Diary,
Hello Friends.... I hope you are having a good week.

I have had a difficult couple of days, had a nasty asthma attack that led me to vomit, so was poorly for about 12 hours as a result. DH had his bag and SAT NAV stolen, and DS (aged 13) came home today in tears and confessed to having been bullied for sometime.

Has anyone any experience of this?

Apart from that I am fine and we have all had lots of cuddles and laughs tonight as a foursome.

    How is everyone?

Poor you, what a horrible few days. I hope you are OK - must have been very scary. Were OHs things taken from his car? Was there a lot of damage, it's such a nuisance that sort of thing and so annoying
And your poor DS - I'm sure he is quite relieved to have told you if he's been keeping it to himself. Schools are generally quite good a dealing with bullying these days (if it's happening at school) and even if at first he doesn't want you to contact anyone I think a word with the Head of Year ( or whatever they call themselves these days) wouldn't be a bad idea.
I STILL haven't bought a Christmas present but am definitely working up to it. Have just had something 'validated' on quidco - how long does it take after that? Am having to scrape money together for an extra up front interest payment on our remortgage grrrrrr. I had money saved for Christmas but will have to use that - at least I have it, I wouldn't have before this year.
Take care Ruby - enjoy every minute of those cuddles and laughs, you deserve them
    Belle

PS How's SH and SC, 1SC and IC too?
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
