Well at work tonight i ended up spending £8.56  i really didn't need to spend anything but some of the deals were just too good to not buy and it will save me money in the long run.... i just need to keep telling myself that!!!
For my £8.56 i got the following:
2 Colgate toothbrushes 49p each
3 Oral B toothbrushes 2 @ 49p and one at 10p
2 Bottles of Beverly Hills mouthwash 49p each
9 toilet rolls £2.99
3 teeth cleaning kits 49p each
1 Bottle bath essence £1.34
1 Bottle of shampoo 64p
And with all my discount off i ended up getting the shampoo for free!! I only bought the toothbrushes as i have no idea what my boyfriend does with his as it always looks like he's eaten it
That's the only thing i really hate about having a second job in a shop i cant resist a bargain but i know that i will use the things i've bought so its not a waste.
MrsPorridge i was going to join the payment a day challenge but i knew i wouldn't be able to make a payment a day so im just keeping all my loose change and i will pay it to the Debenhams card on Friday.
I made my sandwiches for work tonight but didn't have much in so im going to work 2moro with Tuna sandwiches but no mayoI might see if anyone at work has any mayo or salad cream 2moro
Am really looking forward to my lasagne 2moro night so i've got something for work on Fridays lunch :rotfl:

Wow, more payments to Debenhams - nice to see the total coming down. It looks as if you got some good bargains at work. Can you ask your boyfriend to put the money for the toothbrushes in the change jar?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hey
Seaxwyn I wouldn't ask him for the money for the toothbrushes as he has bought quite alot of shopping for the house this week and not asked for any money for it so a few 49p toothbrushes are a better deal for me :rotfl:
I came home tonight to a letter from KP responding to my complaint letter i posted 2nd class on Monday and included in it was a coupon for £3.00 which was great considering the crisps i had bought were only £1.00 and the stamp i used was free :j
Just after opening that letter from KP i received a phone call from 3 who had also received my complaint letter and they informed me they would be sending me a cheque for £5.00 to refund the admin charges they had put on my account which i had already paid :j
My first thought after i had the letter from KP and the phone call from 3 was that who can i complain to next :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
My mum has brought round a box of stuff that she has found when she was clearing out so i now need to either find room for it, ebay it, give it to charity or bin it.... just scared to look in the box

Hey Buddiebabe that's a brilliant result from your complaints! Well done. I'm dying to know whats in the box?Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Ace result from the complaints! And how weird.... my mum just bought round a box of stuff for carbooting too. My parents are selling their house so there should be a lot of junk coming my way. What's in your box? Mine seems to be mostly old sewing stuff.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Not much to report on the box... it was just some old books id had when i was studying at college, some CDs, a few other books and some baby clothes and some of my old clothes.
The stuff has been sitting in their garage for about 10 years so it wasn't very pleasant. The clothes smell of damp so are waiting to go in the wash... on the plus side i did find a top that i will wear again once its been washed.
There are a few books that aren't too bad so i'll take them into work for the girls there (they're to heavy to put on ebay and probably wouldn't sell). I'll put the clothes on ebay once they are washed and i've got half a box of stuff to go to the charity shop. Some of the CDs haven't been opened and there are a few i'll probably keep.
The only other thing that was in the box was an encyclopedia of dressmaking which im guessing used to be my grans as there are a few patterns inside the first page. Im going to keep that as i have always been facinated by dressmaking and would love to make something for myself just need to keep it until i have a spare day to look through it properly.... maybe if my mums clearing out i could ask for the old sewing machine 2  now wonder what she would say to that!!!
I've got the lasagne in the oven so it should be ready soon and that will do for lunch 2moro 2.
The second load of washing is on and the first is in the tumble drier i cant put it outside it was snowing this morning  so i'll use the tumble drier until the weather clears up!
Am going to try and list somethings on ebay tonight.... but only the things worth more than 99p im saving all my 99p stuff for the 12th March when the free listing starts for 99p and below starts. I have a really horrible feeling i wont be throwing anything out as i'll think it might make some money and it will be free to list.... so why not try and sell it on ebay
Hopefully the next box we both get delivered from mums will contain something we can sell for thousands and pay all our debt offwe can always dream!!!! My problem would be i'd end up selling it for 99p and the buyer would be in the paper the following week saying look what i got for 99p and it made £100,000 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

well it's not been a good weekend. I was supposed to be working all weekend but before i went to bed on Friday night i didn't feel too well. I tried to get out of bed but just felt really really weak. So i didn't make it into work yesterday and lost out on 6 hours and then 7 hours today. It also meant my mum had to give up the last day of her holiday to go in and cover for me
im feeling a bit better today but still not great.
I've managed to get the laptop connected to the internet and my boyfriend made up the sofa bed in the living room so i could watch tv and get onto the internet rather than just lying in bed all day.
Last weekend i cleared out my paperwork and transfered £2.50 worth of clubcard vouchers to airmiles to keep my airmiles account open. I received an email from tesco and also airmiles to say the points had been credited however instead of them crediting them to my current airmiles account so i phoned them today they have now credited them to the correct account and i now have a voucher being sent to me for 6 bottles of wine woo hoo :j i'd feel so much better if i drank wine but it will mean that i do have 6 bottles of wine that can be used for presents which will save me a bit of money. It only cost me £2.50 in clubcard vouchers so am really pleased.
I have so much to do but really don't have much strength or energy. I will try and do some housework and get some washing done as i know i need my uniform for work in the morning.
Will try and update again once i've managed to do something

I've managed to put on two loads of washing and one load is in the tumble drier. Still not feeling too great
I have so many things to pay this month and things are going to be a bit tight this month as im not going to be paid for being off sick from work for yesterday or today they have just been put through as days off
I have been paying extra to my Debenhams card using all extra money i have received from the reduction in my mortgage and if other items are lower i've been paying the difference to my Debenhams card.
I paid another £5.75 to my Debenhams card from my loose change on Friday.
I think im going to struggle to meet just my regular minimum payments this month and i've been struggling to figure out why and i think that by paying everything im getting extra to my Debenhams card im leaving myself short as i've not had any money coming in from ebay this month.
From now on im going to go back to the way i used to do things and instead of paying everything as soon as the statement is available on the internet im going to wait until i get the actual statement.
Im going to go back to taking the money out of my bank account every week to put away for each credit card starting from this month and any extra money i get or any difference in my mortgage payments i will take out and put aside for my minimum payments and if there is anything left after this i will pay it to my Debenhams card. I want to try to build up enough to pay all my minimum payments this month and then i want to put anything left after this towards next months payments.
I still have the following to pay this month:
Tesco £48.00
RBS M/C 1 £ 200 Approx (statement due 11th)
RBS m/C 2 £ 117
Debenhams £30.00
MBNA £85 Approx (statement due 9th)
So far i have £50 left in my bank account which would be enough to pay my Tesco card but i don't want to take the money out the bank until i have put petrol in the car and bought shopping for the house so i know exactly how much i have left. I get paid on the 12th and i should have some overtime on it. So will have a better idea then how much im short for the above.
I've managed to put 17 books on turbo lister today ready to upload when the free listing starts on the 12th.

Sorry to hear you have been ill. There are some really nasty viruses around this winter. Don't go to work til you are strong enough - I hope your main job will pay sick pay.
It's such a struggle meeting payments, isn't it. I really admire the way you manage things.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
I was going to go back to work 2moro as i was feeling a bit better but i've just been sick. Think it was from too much coughing... not sure what to do now. My main job will pay sick pay but if i dont go in 2moro i'll have reached the trigger point for my sickness which means i'll be reported to management.... i might phone in for an emergency holiday to see if one more full day off will make me feel a bit better.
On the plus side i listed some things buy it now on ebay tonight and two of them have sold. It was only £2.50 in total but it gets rid of two items out my house and gives me some money in my pocket!!!
So all in all todays not been wasted and i now have 31 items on turbo lister ready to be uploaded once the free listing starts :T
Sometimes i really wonder how i manage to make all my minimum payments but i know i just have to get on with it and find the money somehow im just finding it so hard to make it to pay day without spending on the credit card
