Must be a common thing for food being out of stock, on the last 3 visits something has ran out, this has been over a few months at 3 different branches

blimey doesn't sound like peoples experiences have been very good. I went the other day & had a fantastic waiter. They were out of ham for the topping but I simply changed my order. Staff were friendly & helpful (until our waiter went on his break 7 we were sent the slowest most rubbish waitress). Food was fab, they messed up our order & took my pizza upstairs so rather than leaving me with nothing while the rest of my family tucked in they gave me the other peoples pizza & remade mine. by the time mine came out I was stuffed lol so we took it home.So we had a free pizza. No problem redeeming the voucher on a sunday. Going again tomorrow for lunch.
Great deal. £31 for a family of 6, all had desserts & were full (miracle for my hubby).
This was the Peterborough boongate branch (carr road).

:j £2 coin club = now in a sealed tin so I'm not sure
  • I used mine the other week no probs. As the young girl who was serving us couldn't work out how to only 50% off the food and not the drinks, she ended up taking the drinks off the bill and we had them for free! Then paid with a leisure voucher I got free through pigsback.com, leaving £4 left to pay! £4 for a meal for 4 BARGAIN!!

Printed off the 50% off FOOD at Pizza Hut, and clicked the tab to specify my local restaurant today.

Phoned and booked a table and went to restaurant today. The alteration to the offer was not pointed out by them -we didn't mention it either as we printed it off this aftrenoon.

There was a notice on the door stating they have changed the 50% offer to apply Monday to Thursday ONLY.

We had made a special trip and went in and spoke to the manager. It had been decided earlier in the week that they would only offer the deal Monday - Thursday.

I had applied for and printed out the voucher which clearly states ALL day EVERY day until October.
The manager pointed out the small print that stated they have the right to change the offer.

My point- they can change a website in less than a minute, so why didn't they as they had made the decision to restrict the offer on Wendesday.

I did express the opinion that I would not have went to Pizza Hut today had the offer not been running. I was given a discount (not 50% off food) off the meal as I am a regular customer there as a gesture of goodwill.

Thanks, Ayr is my local restaurant also. I printed a voucher earlier and was going to book a table for later this week, will definitely be checking when they are running this offer before turning up!

Rang up earlier as we're going tonight and there's no restrictions to the days/times in the Grimsby store :)

Went this afternoon. Ended up not using the voucher as the kids wanted the buffet but there were no signs with any restrictions.

Pizza Huts are franchises aren't they for the most part? Maybe each one chooses what to do about the vouchers and Head office just backs them up? I got vouchers last year for Blockbuster rentals and one shop let you keep the DVDs for 2 nights and the one in the neighbouring town stuck to the one night only rule!
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!

How does one get a voucher for the offer?

I would think if the offer is not changed on the official website and it says it applies to all outlets 7days, then it cannot be altered in specific outlets. Perhaps reporting them to trading standards would be the best solution.
  • I requested a voucher 3 times over several days and never received any.
Checked the Junk folder and waited over 48 hours.
    Anybody else had this problem?

Regarding changing the offer, i dont see why they cannot change it.

Last point in the T&C is, Pizza Hut reserve the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time..., i think it also says without prior notice.

I know that the majority of pizza huts are being screwed by this voucher, as so many people are using it. It was HO decision to issue it, but it affects the local restaurants quite badly. They are deducting thousands each week per store. That affects their sales figures that they need to make. It seems just to be another way of HO saying that individual stores are not performing as well as they should.

I work in a Pizza Hut, and Im pretty sure that we will be restricting the offer soon, just waiting on the ok from HO
