• Used ours Friday no bother. I admit I kept it in my pocket until the end of the meal as I thought they might try to scrimp on what they gave us, LOL. I had lasagne for a change and it was huge, well worth the money. We was kept waiting but we went before 5pm and it seemed that their staff did not start until 5.30 from one waitress to having 4 on and then things moved really quickly. I was quite impressed with the food though and would definately do another voucher in hubbies name of course though :)
• We went to a pizza hut yesterday to use the tesco clubcard vouchers that are valid there for a limited time. Please be aware they would not allow these to be used against the deals without charging seperatly for the items, we had the deal for more than 2 and they then charged nearly £7 for a plate of salad!! If we had know we would have made sure we did not chose a deal at this added about another £10 to our bill.
• we used ours on friday night everythng fine! i would call head office and complain!

I did, they said 'it's in the terms and conditions that we reserve the right to change the offer'

To be fair it is covered in the t+c's and i can understand while you are a bit peed off, but why didnt you say you had a voucher when you booked ?

They are not going to mention about vouchers to everone that phones up as most people wont be aware of them

PS: Didnt realuse you could book a table at Pizza Hut
• Just checked the terms from the link on tescos website - Deal Token(s) cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer - including promotional and Meal Deals/Set Menus. Hope this highlights this for others we will know next time!

Printed off the 50% off FOOD at Pizza Hut, and clicked the tab to specify my local restaurant today.

Phoned and booked a table and went to restaurant today. The alteration to the offer was not pointed out by them -we didn't mention it either as we printed it off this aftrenoon.

There was a notice on the door stating they have changed the 50% offer to apply Monday to Thursday ONLY.

We had made a special trip and went in and spoke to the manager. It had been decided earlier in the week that they would only offer the deal Monday - Thursday.

I had applied for and printed out the voucher which clearly states ALL day EVERY day until October.
The manager pointed out the small print that stated they have the right to change the offer.

My point- they can change a website in less than a minute, so why didn't they as they had made the decision to restrict the offer on Wendesday.

I did express the opinion that I would not have went to Pizza Hut today had the offer not been running. I was given a discount (not 50% off food) off the meal as I am a regular customer there as a gesture of goodwill.

You should contact Pizza hut straight away. I would have refused to pay, or calculate the amount using the 50% off voucher. The voucher states the restaurant you went to and the terms and conditions state all day everyday. Simple really.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

They had a notice on the door and pointed out the terms and conditions on the voucher prior to ordering, so it was order or leave were the options.

Typical Pizza Hut muppetry.

The only saving grace was that the manager actually gave a darn, and offered an alternative discount as we are regular customers there.

We're going to our local one tomorrow. I booked a table for 4 online last week but they haven't called to confirm it yet - I wouldn't usually expect a restaurant to do that but the email said they would be in touch.

Just gave them a call myself and they have the reservation OK. It will be interesting to see if that Hut has got the only Monday to Thursday sign up. I will post my experiences tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up baldelectrician.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

Peace, love and labradors!

Went to one in York last week with our voucher in hand. Walked in and shown to our table along a carpet scattered with food. No tables had been cleared and the one we were seated at wasnt set and was dirty and sticky. We were then told they had no Pan bases left (obviously shipped in frozen then).

We spoke to the manageress and said that we had a voucher for this named restaurant but as they had no Pan bases could we use it at the branch round the corner. She phoned then and they said yes. We went to the one round the corner and they had no Italian bases, ham or peppers! Place was just as dirty, no tables set and the area round the ice cream factory and the salad bar looked like a bomb had gone off. Food was ok for half price but the atmosphere and cleanliness at both places were the worst Ive seen for many a year. Also terrbily understafffed. There is little point running a voucher campaign to get people through the door when all it has done is put us off for good. There are dozens of Italian's in York that make pizzas with fresh bases, for lower prices and far better ambiance.
