The bull will rear his head from time to time before the bear is dead, that is characterized by bear market rallies, but I suspect this bear has a year or two of life left in him. But that's just my opinion, many prominent market analysts called the bottom at the November lows, timing market tops and bottoms is impossible, many major indices have now finally broken those lows if we can't regain that support level in the next few days then I guess the next leg down is underway.willing2learn wrote: »How long do you think it will take for the bear to die and the bull to start rearing it's head again?Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Well just had a quick glance of Sharescope, it looks like it's one that i would have to buy into (not saying it's not good, but right now it's not a good time for me to buy into any system).
Interestingly it offers a free demo and says that on this you get the previous day's charts.....i wonder how long you can keep the free demo? because for learning purposes i wouldn't mind if i recieve the data a day late, as it's not real trading for me....0 -
I'd imagine, but don't know, that the demo is time limited. If you only want yesterdays charts, can you not get that info from ADVFN for free.willing2learn wrote: »Well just had a quick glance of Sharescope, it looks like it's one that i would have to buy into (not saying it's not good, but right now it's not a good time for me to buy into any system).

I will go check out ADVFN. Sharescope looks good though i have to say - i think you get 2 months of charts for free.....my problem is i can't be consistent with practice due to working hours......so i could download that and then not touch it for 5 weeks
I want charts that have indicators as a friend of mine who has successfully traded for a year full time has shown me some stuff using indicators. I know they are not everything but obviously i want to learn what i've been shown first - as a starting point. I know there are many pitfalls and criticisms of technical analysis0 -
Well, ADVFN doesn't seem to want to show me any pictures of charts....for some reason they are not coming up on my screen.....
thinking it's back to the drawing board

Seems to work ok for me, you need Java installed though, as they are Java based.willing2learn wrote: »Well, ADVFN doesn't seem to want to show me any pictures of charts....for some reason they are not coming up on my screen.....

to save me going back to the site.....i'm going through so many on my list....can you tell me if the charts are just basic ones or can you use indicators with them?
thanks again! :T0 -
Seems you can add a large range of indicators. Digital Look appears to do charts as well. I can't be bothered to sign up just to see what they are like thoughwilling2learn wrote: »Thanks tradetime
