Thanks... of course not getting that as the Holy Bible... just another tool
and not the daily market: BT_A is suggested for tomorrow daytrading (which is a bet) and has no stars in their reliability system
have a look at the weekly table, it is on the right of "daily", upper left corner... especially consider CHTR
Thanks again!

Ahh... Well with zero stars on their own reliability system... lol!

thanks for your post. Interesting you might like to invest in the early part of next year.....that might be when i can do something.....
I've been to some interesting talks on the subject and, thanks to people on here and others, I've gained a little bit of knowledge on the subject. However that makes me realise just how little i know. If there's one thing i've picked up though, it's really about doing the analysis yourself at the end of the day....whether that be technical (chart based) or fundamental analysis, or a bit of both.0 -

I have really enjoyed reading this thread, i feel though i am drowning in the amount that i need to learn. I've opened a practise a/c with the Share Centre and think i should spend a long time 'playing' there, then and only then if i think i understand how the markets work., i may have a go for real.
Thanks to all those that have taken thier time to post here.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I thought this thread was dead long ago and i thought it was when i announced i was female! LOL! Only joking - the posts here have been REALLY helpful.
and female or not i can drink beer on this thread  cos there's a smiley that lets me do it -
Seriously i'd like to keep this thread going as and when i learn bits i will post them......at the moment i'm in a catch 22. There's a site i want to use but it will cost me £20 a month. I just don't have the money - but i love the site because it's so clear visually with all the indicators, etc.....and because i was taught a little bit about it.
Never mind, i have two problems....1) I don't have a computer at my home (first thing to solve, that requires money to get one!) and 2) I then would have to pay for the site subscription as well as the internet connection.... (remember i only wish to learn this stuff i know i don't have any capital to actually use)
so for the time being i'll probably be dabbling and that's all, commenting on here if i've anything useful to add. If i find a free stock trading practice site that i really feel at home on i will post back0 -

Hi SailorSam
feel free to message me anytime - it might take me a while to get back to you because i don't live with a computer (lol) but i will reply.
Meanwhile i'll add the Share Centre to my list of sites to check out.
by the way it IS frustrating - but the more i delve into this the more i realise it's not something that can be done quickly and the only way is to take the time - so you've got to do it for the interest if nothing else.....:D0 -
And whatever you do, don't get conned into feeling like you absolutely must get into the market right now or you'll miss it. Take your time, learn what you need to, there'll be plenty of opportunity to get in before this bear is dead
How long do you think it will take for the bear to die and the bull to start rearing it's head again?0
