    :hello: Hi

I haven't been around for a whle. It seems like ages but is probably only about a week. We had internet connection problems but as a result DD and I completely gutted the old playroom and now it is a study/library/fitness room. If only I lknew how to post piccies as I have before and afters.

Sexymouse, I usually think if a job doesn't come up then a better one is going to come along next but it is demoralising when you think they want you and they get someone else. I hope a really fantastic school gets in touch soon.

Kazmeister hugs I hope OH gets his butt off the seat and helps more in the house. I know it is so frustrating when someone else isn't pulling their weight. Puttng it down in writing as you did in an e mail or on paper is the only way to get through sometimes. grrrr, makes me mad on your behalf.

 The main reason I haven't been on here is that DS was in a car crash. He has whiplash and chest pain but otherwise okay. The police say he is very lucky indeed to get out of the car in one piece. We thank God that he had good brakes and his seat belt on. We have had loads to sort out and have helped him with transport and hospital visits etc. The car is unrepairable.

I am going to start on the living room now as I missed it out this week. I did our bedroom this morning and I will try to get the bathrooms cleaned to level one this evening.

I think I will have a cuppa first. Anyone like to:coffee: join me?

  • Hi everyone.

Haven't been on for a couple of days because of lack of time and the sheer number of posts putting me off a bit.

Ds2 still waking loads during the night, and i'm starting to get a bit down with it. 4x on Tuesday night, 3x last night. DH was annoying me a bit too as he is after a bit of attention too, and the last thing i want when i collapse in bed is that. Especially as he tells me he is away again next week on a boys jolly with work.

The house is ending up with less and less done in it each day it feels. Today i have managed to feed and dress us and the cats, got one washload in, and had the boys out for about 20 minutes to get some fresh air. They've both been asleep for about 1 1/2 hours and i have barely moved from here honestly.

I am going to set myself some small targets for the rest of the day:
    • list at least 5 items on ebay
    • iron 10 items
    • lay out kids clothes for tomorrow
    • empty airer
    • hang up load of washed clothes.
good luck vibes for little mathew, sorry to hear about your DS's accident poohbear, mumof four - glad they caught the scumbags who broke in, kazmeister - i hope you can get something sorted - doesn't sound like they are helping you with that anaemia or even showing any appreciation at the moment, hugs to everyone who wants one.

    Michelle, x

Michelle - huge hugs hun, I could have typed your post word for word 12 years ago! I know we are always telling you but the house will wait, your kids are tiny but it is so true, when mine were babes I did hardly any housework - no wonder I still find it tough now!

Pooh - I wondered where you were. I am glad your DS is going to be ok and hope he is recovered soon.

Right going to hoover the stairs and then sort out 5 things to ebay - I'll wipe the living room later.

Poohbear - thanks for your kind comments re the supply job, especially as you have so much on your plate at the moment too. Sending a big hug to both you and your DS and family. It must have been really scary for all of you.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Aww poohbear. Glad he had a lucky escape and is on the mend.

Michelle - I know what you mean about the thread getting long if you've been busy for a day or two. I struggle to catch up on the 3 mornings I work. So I skim it quickly and then go back if I have time. Which is very rare to be honest.

I sympathise with the broken nights sleep. The housework will still be there tomorrow. Try and grab a catnap if you can during the day if they're both asleep at the same time.

Didn't you say the other week that you'd started LO on some solid food. How's that going?

Hi Poohbear, I hope your hubby is on the mend, you must have been mad with worry...

If you want to upload photos, you need to put them on a website or something - I use Flickr - then you upload the photos to there and follow the instructions on how to reduce the size (I use small option when I put one in my post), and then click on the 'insert image' icon above (the yellow square with the mountain and sun on it). Hope that helps.

PS, I had a cup of tea instead of coffee and watched Neighbours to clear my brain (nothing strenuous there eh! :) ), but am about to start on a HHC - anyone want to join me 2.30pm - 3pm? I need some loud music to blow away the cobwebs...

Sexymouse - sorry about the supply job, but like you say, I am sure you will find something even better - good luck...:D
