  • Afternoon all

Firstly - thank you so much Sarah for the mention.. I felt a bit invisible the last couple of days (my 'stuff', noone elses fault!!) cos I can't keep popping in to chat and with 11 pages since I was here yesterday it's hard to catch up. So you mentioning me gave me a warm and fuzzy.. :rotfl:
Ok, I managed this out of my extra's yesterday:
    [strike]Water house plants
ask OH to bring in the pepper and chilli plants that are outside so they can join their friends indoors.
    [/strike]
Make an appt with my homeopath
    [strike]Find paperwork re: mortgage
    [/strike]
Ring and arrange for 3 decorators to give me a quote
Find credit card statements and write cheques
[strike]Ask OH for a major cuddle - am feeling a bit down today

    [/strike]
    So for today:
    Daily list:
Feed cat - at least twice
Spray tiles in shower with bleach stuff (my OH always forgets)
    Prepare veg for evening meal
    File 10 peices of paperwork
    Spend an hour doing Slicethepie
    Do my daily click-thrus
    Spend an hour doing reviews

    Extras:
    Ring the vet
Remind the OH to bring in the peppers I asked about yesterday:rotfl:
Sort out lower kitchen cupboards with OH
    Read instructions for bread maker
    Bake coconut pie

I hope you all have a good and productive day flying!

*Hugs* to all who need them and a gentle prod to those who might need one of those to get going too!!:rotfl:

Well during my HHC I spotted the paper I'd noted down the details about the regular supply on, so I called the agency to see if they'd heard anything - turns out they heard this morning, and the school wanted another girl to do it cos she's supplied for them before and knew the teacher that would be covered. There goes my regular income then :(

Thanks Dusty. I know that if I were a school I would've used their regular girl too, but it just seems unfair that this is the second time this school have asked for my details and have messed me around. Anyway, I'm sure that what is meant to be is meant to be. Maybe there'll be another job that is in a nicer school just around the corner for me.

    Hi ya

Have a couple of days posts caught up now, well up until lunchtime anyway so replies to those

Soappie – I have certainly saved it (the note from DD :D )

Johanne – hope you feeling a bit better this morning. I think you are taking the right attitude to the course, you have a very young gorgeous little girl and if you have to postpone studying until you are able to make more time for it then it will do you good. Loved the photos and your sense of humour and don’t worry you are not alone with rooms that are not a la showhouse

Greenbee – thanks for the comments, DD did come and apologise but it still hurts that she can be so nasty when angry especially when I took her alone to Eurodisney as a her and me time thing just a week ago! Chocolate yes long Lush soak yes but alcohol I’ll give a miss, one of us needing a drink is enough.

Pigpen – good luck for the interview, what course have you decided on

Tootifrooti – thanks but I think I have decided I am going to tell OH to go down to the job centre to see about getting a cleaner, we have talked about it before and if they cant be bothered then they will pay for it. Sorry missed that you were undergoing treatment, hope all OK x

Deniseflower – I know what you mean about men and old clothes, my OH has loads of carp that is at least 20 years out of date (and no not back in fashion either) How embarrassing is it when you go out and he puts his Cuban heels on lol

Mudbath – I hope your back is ok, that’s the last thing you need right now. Glad the work is picking up.

Tia – running a business is hard work, not that I would know

Triker – hope the car isn’t expensive

Holly – hope your day got better

Serena – good luck with the lesson plans !

Jackilesley – gardening at your mums counts, my OH playing solitaire on the laptop doesn’t big time!

Firefly – you’re not letting the side down or anyone else, at least you’ve done something. I am currently on strike and refuse to do anything until the lazy people in our house start doing something as well.

Tooti – love the middlewife story

Pigpen – you have a wonderful way with words “I avoid people in the playground too.. it isn't because they annoy me.. it is because I want to strangle them and their 'don't do that little sweetums' when their child quite obviously needs boiling in acid.. Ok.. so everyone avoids me really because they think I'm weird.. I'm not.. really..” and you are not weird we all love you and think you are brilliant.
Oh dear another paint drama :rotfl:

Triker – hope your friend gets sorted soon

TAG – hugs for the OH blues, I know how that feels

Boddy – hugs for the work stress don’t let the b******s get you down

Pigpen – laughed at the clocks thing, I always used to keep the clock 5 – 10 mins fast but was always still late everywhere so gave up on it

Lilme – helloooo. Was wondering where you were. Hope little matthew gets on ok and that you manage to get off the rollercoaster

Polkadot – JOIN ME ON STRIKE. Hope it gets better tomorrow

    Nicki – hugs honey

Ok so posting this from work so will catch up with everyone else once I get home (thats if I'm allowed :o ). Have seriously p1$$ed of OH today as had a wonderful email argument  after telling him yesterday to get down to the job centre to advertise for a cleaner as I was sick of trying to do everything myself. He didnt appreciate my sarcy comments this morning about him busying himself in the house  so I'm in big trouble now as I told him (in email of course) exactly what I thought of him playing solitaire while I was at work and nothing was being done. Probably best he's going to work tonight!

Ok I better go and have a look at the lists as I better call off the strike and see if I can get the kids to help me tonight.

    See ya ll later
