Clean clothes all put away, wm on and bo out for a walk. Need to head to town and don't whether to wake hubby or leave him here.

Bo's loving the fact the kids are all at school, he now has free run of the house, his tail never stops.

Right i may get ready for town, back later.

    Nicki big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

See I couldn't do that pigpen, cos not only is my cat black, making it really difficult to see them, but they would probably jump straight off him and straight onto me. Biting bugs all love me!

    Morning all.

Ex told me last night (after me asking for 6 months  ) that he will not help me with the debts he ran up in my name because he supported me for 8 years and feels that he's done enough even though he said he would help me with them.:mad::mad: I've now hit the point where I've decided he is the biggest mistake I've ever made and if it wasn't for DD I'd cut him out of my life entirely. I can't be doing with this. I never thought I could ever hate anyone, but he's proved me wrong.

    Guess who's ebaying today.

Thats rubbish Nicki! I assume you werent working because you were bringing up your daughter, that is a job! Just because its not paid does not mean it is less important. What a !!!! he sounds.

Its 5p listing day today if that helps.

Why would he need £5?? We had get a carvery dinner and a dessert for that here!!! Mine take £2 each for their dinner money and if it isn't enough they have to consider their spending a little more..

One of DD1's friends gets £10 A DAY for her dinner!!!!!!!!!

I know - it's because his mates now go into Maccy D's and spend £3.80? on a meal plus other stuff - hence they get £5 - more money than sense if you ask me...

I don't mind £2 as it prob costs that for sarnies and stuff anyway, it's just coz they're allowed out now and I know he won't eat proper - still, prob swaps sarnies for carp anyway and if he wants to eat it??? - school dinners themselves not that cheap here, but at least you know what they're eating (not too much on the carp and chips front)...

mummy being a worrier I suppose :rotfl: - by the way, when ARE you supposed to cut the apron strings - he's 15 and the only one at home now DD(19) moved out - think I'm being a bit clingy?... ooooh, am I gonna be one of THOSE mothers that the girlfriend/wife is gonna hate cos I tell her what he likes, etc... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Naaaa, never gonna happen :D ?

I've made the fatal mistake of attempting to do a sort out of the scary cupboard whilst DD is about. The scary cupboard is practically full of DD's paper, paint, pencils, card, felt etc, etc. You get the picture! She draws/paints from the time she gets up to the time she goes to bed.

I'm trying to sort out all the good ones to keep and get rid of the rubbish. Trouble is as fast as I'm binning it she's taking it out and putting me on a guilt trip as she wants to keep it:rolleyes:

Once I've finished though I'll be able to strike through the 34 fling boogie on Monday's list.:T

Bumblebee - doggy prints. I have them to. I'm gonna have to get the carpet cleaner out over the next week or so. Mine's a light coloured carpet as well. Wonder if you can buy doggy slippers?:D
  • Right, still not made it to the shower have just finished off a couple of things then wait for Mum to collect it off me...

Lil_me thinking of little matthew and his family - i'm sure it will be good news

Nikki He sounds like a complete B*****d! I know that doesn't help but at least you know where you stand now and can sort yourself out
Maybe you could ask CAB if he is liable for anything, as I know someone told me somewhere that debts built up when people are together are jointly liable or something? It may have been something to do with someone passing away, can't remember exactly, but might be worth a call - if not them (I know how long it takes them to answer the phone!) try one of those "30 mins free" solicitors - they advertise in yellow pages - you never know!

actually sorry to be controversial but he's not.

Probably get shot down in pieces for saying that but end of the day there is two sides to every story and only ever one put on here and i wont see Ex-bro-in-law slagged when he cant defend himself. End of the day hes still my family :o:o:o

Wasnt a dig at you G&B by the way... so pllllleeeeassee dont take it that way. :( I just know people will obviously "take nickis side" as shes on here and your all friends.... but i reaalllly cant take seeing him slagged off as hes my friend/like a big bro to me...

*exits thread to go see to DD probably to return to lots of nasty "you shouldnt have said that" "be more supportive.." messages and PMs...*

Not having fun here! Both boys have spent the night being sick. At 3am I was stood in the middle of their beds trying to hold bowls out to both of them. Wierdly both fine now, but couldn't take them to school so no work for me. Means I have to go in tomorrow which is a pain.

Lots of washing to do for obvious reasons. Done the dailies and hoovering and so on but really need to get off my backside. My excuse is that I need to answer my work e-mail.

Three cats here - one is pretending not to be asleep on the sofa (not allowed), fat ginger sleeping on a magazine on the windowledge (because I was reading it and put it down to make a cup of tea), and the third is asleep on the ironing pile (the top of which will need re-washing, again). Very envious of the kitten Pigpen, even with the fleas.

Johanne and Nicki, hugs for you both. Not an easy situation for either of you to deal with.
