    Hello!!

Well I have moved  so I am back in. Only got mobile internet connection though so verrrrrry sloooooow and intermittent. Will try to keep up though. Still unpacking but house is lovely (and only one bathroom to clean :T ) Thanks to those of you who sent me good wishes; we got here safely though rather late and the weather and traffic was very kind.

Broadband arriving Friday so will be able to chat properly then, but will try to pop in when I can and do at least level 1 until all boxes unpacked. Little fat dog has been to the beach twice and seems to have finally accepted that we are staying here and not going 'home' anytime soon. She hadn't really eaten properly until today so hopefully she will now settle as we were a bit worried about her :(

Anyway, better hit return before this all disappears :rotfl: and MUST change my signature!

I'm in!!! It's my last week at home (which is quite scary), so I'm doing level 1, maybe some of level 2, and packing up all my stuff! Anyone got any handy flylady hints on moving house?

    Have a good week everyone!

My 3 moving tips are small, and are for when you arrive at your new home.

    1) sort out your tea/coffee making stuff first.
    2) once your bed is in place - make it! That way you can collapse into it when you've had enough. ( such a horrible feeling to finally head off to bed, only to find that you've still got to find the bedding  )
    3) make sure you have your armchair/sofa clear and available to sit on with a cuppa when you get up on your first morning!

Good luck with it, hope it goes well. HTH

Handy hint No 1: Do not move house; ever. No seriously, just don't do it, stay where you are.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Truthful hint: Packing will all take longer than you think; go and do it now!:D

    Evening peeps

Thanks for the list pigpen, I'll say I'm in but dont know how much I'll actually get done!

Back from hols yesterday, had a good time in Disney although got soaked on the first day in the rain and second day was 24 degrees. Camping the rest of the week went well (first time for me) in that we didnt get wet although it was overcast and grey with a few spots of rain and too cold for me. DD loved the pool and we couldnt keep her out of it and the sun came out yesterday when we packed up to come home and it got to 28 degrees which is typical.

Have spent today washing, washing and washing, shopping, cooking and I actually got everypne roped in to do a bit of tidying in the garden.

Have missed all last weeks list so hope everyone is ok, no doubt I'll catch up as we go through the week. Hope all the new faces are enjoying being here and going to stay with us.

Both kids back to school on Wednesday, DD going into yr 5 and DS into year 12, I'm back to work tomorrow and OH not back til at least Thursday so I'm hoping he might put some of the holiday stuff away that got dumped in the middle room!

So thats me and them .....

Glad the house move went well MrsV good luck with the unpacking.

Sarahshattered sorry you had such a pants time on hols. Great tips for moving, here's hoping I dont have to - after France last week OH is looking to move out there

I go back to work on Monday after 7months off, dd2 starts with her childminder on Tuesday & dd1 starts high school on Thursday  I have decided though that I'm not carrying things forward, if they don't get done this week, i'll just do them next week (hope that's ok PigPen) that way i don't feel like i'm drowning!!!

SS sorry your holiday wasn't great, neither was mine if that makes you feel any better - where did you go?

Thanks honey, and sorry yours wasn't great either! We went to Newport in Wales, beautiful place, and if either the weather or the bed had've been ok, I'd have had a good time! ;)

Hi Toots :hello: Hope you're well and chirpy chick!

Glad to be home TBH, and can't wait for my little darlings to be back at school. Although DD1 starts secondary school, so just bought her uniform!!!    :rotfl: :rotfl:
