  • Hellloooo lovely Flyladies :hello:

Back from cr*ppy holiday.  BOOOOOOOOO...... not impressed!   4Star my *rse. Blasted bed was so uncomfortable I seriously considered sleeping in the car!!!! Weather was lousy, power fluctuations kept turning the grill off, and not even freeview on the tv. All in all it was a really rubbish holiday.

Bet you've missed my sunny happy disposition!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, I'm IN, looking forward to continuing to have a lovely clean and tidy house.... still a novelty in the Shattered house.

    Thanks pigpen :D

Pigpen - there ARE some mid-30s women out there. Some of us haven't yet found anyone we think might be worth settling down and having kids with - obviously all the good ones are taken ;) as if you're looking there don't seem to be many out there!

I'll second that! And I sometimes worry that time may be running out!!

I'm here this week - don't know how much flying will get done with going back to work but I'll try and do a little.

I have had a better day today and everyone here is fab :T

  • Evening ladies.

I'm in as usual and will do what i can. We've already made tomorrow nights dinner (a lasagna) and i have a mini shepherds pie for DS's dinner tomorrow. We have spent a good bit of the day at my parents catching up with them after their holiday.

I haven't overkilled myself today though. I got as far as emptying off an airer and reloading it. The WM is nearly loaded for tomorrow am, just a few items to stain soak 1st.

I've managed to deliver 2 birthday presies to family, return some books that i borrowed from my sister, and picked up some nappies on offer and using up some vouchers we had.

I also got DS1 to try on his coats hanging in the hall, and more than half don't fit, so they need sorting/boxing into the loft till DS2 needs them. I need to do some sorting this week i feel.

Monday Mop- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
Clean the fridge and work anything that needs using soon into your meal plan
    Wipe dining table and placemats
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards
    Wipe out a dirty cupboard
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. S&S over the hob and oven
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    3. 34 fling boogie..
    4. Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell heavenly
    Extras for this week:
    • pay cash into bank
    • sort September birthday cards/presents
    • DH to fix mums hoover cable - the dog chewed through it while they were on hols
    • then deliver the hoover back
    • DH to pick up free birds eye stuff from ASDA as they had run out today
    • DH measured for suit at Moss bros - there was a long wait today so we couldn't do it.
    • boxes to go in the loft
    • toys to come out
    • HHI
and i am feeling all inspired by those of you who have started sorting your control journal - i should make a start on that.

    Michelle, x

I'm in!!! DD is back to school Tuesday and I can't wait :o:rotfl::rotfl: Don't know if I'll be doing the list on Monday or whether I might leave it until DD is back in school. I think I'm going to look into getting a huge Asda delivery of milk & stuff that can be stored...but I'm off to bed now as soon as I've finished watching this last episode of Wire in the Blood.

    Evening ladies

I'm in and planning on trying to keep up this week as I did no rooms last week. Kitchen should be easy so hope to get bathroom done as well.

    Also to do:
    DS3 PE kit and bookbag
DS3 school dinner list find and check
    DS3 reading challenge

Bother, bother, bother just remembered silly school set holiday homework - an art thing and have we done it? what do you think?

    Back to the list:
proof read more of DS1's coursework (has as many errors in as one of my posts)
    HHG if it is dry
    HHI

Glad you had a better day. I've come to the conclusion that there are no decent single men in Hampshire, so maybe we'd be better looking further afield
