KP I have a nearly 7-week-old and a 2 year old you can borrow for cuddles, I know they'd appreciate it when I'm running round like a madwoman trying to do twenty things at once and saying (not so) comforting things to them such as, "aw there there I'll pick you up in a minute" (to baby) and "I can't until I've finished feeding baby" (to DD2.) DD2's gonna have developed the independence of a teenager by the time baby develops some sort of feeding pattern - she's already started with the "IN A MINUTE!"s and "NO!"s :eek:Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Brings back so many memories! Just telling a colleague I remember being a dab hand at eating with one hand. I dont know how my sis stays so calm. It was hard enough with 3 under 5 let alone 3 under 4 and 2 teenagers .
Jo, bet your two are gorgeous and Im sure Id love to cuddle given the chance. East Midlands isnt far from here in the south midlands!
Shaun, hope you get a good five hours. I used to rely on getting at least 4 hours stright and then the odd hour here and there. Mid afternoon naps were vital as well.:j0 -
Just thought DS and DD2 used to and infact still do the "in a minute". They tend to ignore me now rather than say NO thats left to the stroppy 11 year old. She has to debate every decision that goes against her :j0

Hi Shaun sorry to hear sleep was not on the menu last night. Salmon and pasta sounds scrummy. Weather here is still good at the mo but due to turn tomorrow when OH out at golf all day. Hopefully that means it will leave Dublin alone.
Spent 3 1/2 hours at hospital so a bit annoyed at that. If they just said they were running late  poor OH well bored. I have a new light weight cast thats purple  with 7 white velcro strips. Its cut in two so I can take the cast off when resting to exercise the ankle. Another four weeks the cast should be off for good :j.
NSD which is easy becasue I have only had 20p in my purse all week so OH spending the £120 he would usually give to me. Worked that out in budget so the longer he keeps it up the better.
Payday saw about £20 more in than planned :j. Tesco cc paid and big chuck moved to savings until needed. Think OH car insurance due in a few weeks but have that down to £320 with £400 budgeted. Shopping this week should only need a largish top up rather than a full shop. Kids to stay on school dinners until Im back (literally) on my feet.
Think thats it for now.
Bye :wave::j0 -
sounds like a good end to the week
what is it with the multi coloured casts that they use in the uk,,,,is white no longer good enough???
er! dont think nsd count if someone else has the house keeping kitty:rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:
unless there not spending it!!
:jto extra savings

I was surprised at the choice. White, red, blue, purple, pink or black are the ones I remember. Nearly went for black but glad I didnt. It would have looked like a Newcastle football kist with the velcro! Not that I dont like Newcastle but Im a southerner who supports Spurs.
Like whoever is controlling the weather at the moment keep it up!!
Im classing it as NSD but I suppose the choccie bars he brought me earlier should count as a me spend bar humbug. Oh and the parking....
Hope I can keep the extra savings so to repeat several times.. I must not go mad on the shopping I must not go mad on the shopping.:j0 -
A miracle has occured - have had 5 nsd's but tomorrow I get to buy beads!! Frustrating waiting for cccs...dont watch american idol but watch apprentice (without fail!), ghost whisperer, lots of documentaries etc...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
