not using the morphine yet ,,to be honest im a bit scared of it..
i would be worried about side effects, drowsiness eth??
and also the addictiveness as i have an addictive nature,,

    Hi Shaun

Some people the morphine does make a difference, they started me on the patches to get a regulat amount into blod stream, but to get a patch to work it would of been massive. I did try the morphine liquid its horrible, I do keep it for emergenies as it hits the stop quicker than the tablets.

In all honestly with all the tablets I've had over the years, I had a reaction to some anti-inflamatory tablets, I would fall asleep at a moments notice, they lasted for a week.

I'm lucky I have had no side effects, some days I have to take more than others, I dont find them addictive, the one gp at my surgery laughs at me when I ask for a repeat prescription, he cant believe I'm standing, (bear in mind I'm 130kg), hes tiny, about 5ft 6in tall, and I'm sure a feather would knock him down.
    xx

  • Hello M21 Ive missed you

Yes Sunday the 5th, at 7 am, I went to take the cat out and miscounted the steps at the bottom on the stairs taking the last two together. Ended up in a heap on the floor with two sore feet. I have broken my left tibia and fibia near the ankle resulting in 5 days in hospital and pins. Its been frustrating having to relying on others and even the simplist of things are either impossible or 10 times harder to do. Overall I can do enough and OH has been wonderful. Compared to others in similar situations I am not that bad. Another 4 weeks to go before cast off and I can put weight on it.

    With Morphine can you drive?

  • :shhh:Ive been :naughty: and spent £89 on a new pool. To counteract this in my defence I got it at a great price compared to the usual £150-200 price, the kids will use it loads, the old one is ruined due to puddy cats claws so this one wont affected by that. Lastly I used the money in the sealed pot to pay for it so just need to save a bit harder for the holiday. OH has also said it will count as his xmas pressie that I havent got yet. That was a tesco voucher day out.

The other big spend is the planned holiday balance due on the 8th May. Since its payday I did it today so I dont forget. £480 out of savings to the cc so an extra 480 points for that :money:. Should have between £40 and £45 in Mr T vouchers due in May.

Last spend was £7 for DDs to go to movie club this morning.

Hope I havent disappointed all you fellow DFWs. I am trying to be careful I promise. Still want to (well at least the kids to) have a bit of a life whilst moneysaving.

Good day today, been chatting with a new friend, old TV going tomorrow via free cycle so one less thing to trip over :D. OH sound like he is having fun and kids fairly quiet. DS dropped a bike on DD2s plastered arm so mini crisis but touchwood no problems.
