    Hello M21 Ive missed you

Yes Sunday the 5th, at 7 am, I went to take the cat out and miscounted the steps at the bottom on the stairs taking the last two together. Ended up in a heap on the floor with two sore feet. I have broken my left tibia and fibia near the ankle resulting in 5 days in hospital and pins. Its been frustrating having to relying on others and even the simplist of things are either impossible or 10 times harder to do. Overall I can do enough and OH has been wonderful. Compared to others in similar situations I am not that bad. Another 4 weeks to go before cast off and I can put weight on it.

    With Morphine can you drive?

Oh christ, hope your ok, bet the cat got called a few choice names, u take care, glad OH has been a blessing.

I drive with morphine, some people it makes them sleepy, me its just like taking paracetomal, doesnt make me drowsy, I can still drive xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Not much to update. First spends of the month today were:

£10 grocery bits n bobs inc mag for DD2 whilst at fracture clinic.

    £55-60 online grocery shop

DD2 has had cast off this morning. She was a bit upset and nervous about moving her arm. Due to stiffness but hard to explain that to an 8 year old. Let her have the day off and made her have a nap so pretty much all ok now. A small ache but not as bad. My foots ok no painkillers in two days now.

Listed more items on ebay they are all half price BIN so hoping they all go.

Hoping to get my bath tomorrow now Ive remembered to order some dressings - looking forward to a good soak.

No news from OH ref CCCS so Ill ask him tomorrow.

Thanks for info on Morphine M21 just thinking about OH.

Hope all ok with everyone Im a bit worried that Shauns not been about.

  • Had a bit of fun with Robinson Way today. They keep ringing for OH. He just hangs up if he gets the phone and usually so do I. At the moment though it is infurianting if I have had to attempt to rush to the phone with my foot so I had a go today. I wont go into too much detail but hopefully the calls will stop for a while. Even better will be when OH sorts out the DRO. Opened one of his letters yesterday which was from CCCS saying he hadnt been in contact . Oh well nowt I can do.

NSD and shopping came to £55 so not too bad.

Still waiting on boss to ring was supposed to be yesterday. Today was team meeting and I know hes now heading north  I want to work

  • Broke NSD yesterday, had to give DD1 some money for guides bingo. So £3 gone.

Good news for her is she won: sleeping bag, charlie blue perfume and a big pack of biccies.

No movement on the bank account so all boring, trying to avoid spending as could do with new bedding.

Going to have that much longer for bath when OH gets back from school. Shouldnt need him but just to be sure. Going for a full pamper with exfoliation and moisturing. No point in having loads of lovely BS products and not using them!

Mentioned to a friend who stressed at the mo that we should have a pamper evening with it for a laugh.

Thats about it at the mo just plodding along.

  • Just drying off now, full exfoliation and moisture as promised. The last few weeks have been stick head under showerhead and try not to wash the room as well and bodywashes so it was lovely.

Give it a go Jo even a quick foot soak or half an hour on your neils. Agree its difficult to find time and be in the right mood. Usually O just slob watching TV.

Some good news :jI should get some work from next week. Itll be from my old department but its still work. I need to get back into the swing of things.

Still no change on the money front NSD yesterday.

Head a bit all over the place and my mood has dropped a bit. Think I need to write stuff to do down and try to work through it slowly.
