Kids are tired especially DD2 who had a right fit this morning over her hair. We still have nits about so I insisted on putting up her hair. I won in the end but it wasnt pretty.

OH having a sleep in after a very long day yesterday. I should be working from home but so far I am doing housework and on here. Just about to watch Judge Judy ;) .

    Cheers PG

Spends today not great. £35 food and £22 brownies/guides. Main DD day tomorrow so will saa how ppor the bank looks. £200 course reward cheque en route and waiting on the £90 from Quidco. Hoping Ican minimise grocery costs since loads on food in. its the fresh stuff costing where we have to replace.

Hair tomorrow and then some work.

Its the odds and sods that add up, dd weve just paid next terms ballet and her exam fees grand total £91........
Thats brilliant news re £200 reward cheque, u get yourself something from it, u look after everyone else
Good luck with the grocery, sounds like ur very well stocked, and meal planning will help, can other half get a few things sorted when ur at work.
Good for u haveing the treat, haveing ur hair done, mines the home dye kit next week, may be a cherryish colour........ would love to be blonde, size 12, but something went wrong sumwhere!!
Fingers crossed Quidco pays out, dont know what Id do without quidco, mutual points, one poll etc, they all go towards dds ballet and swimming.
Bless her she got her level 2 swimming, and now jumps in, this was the child who in Oct would scream the pool down if she got her face wet, + had to be held by at least one hand. The group she goes to they only have a maximum of 4 children, touch wood theres only been her and another girl and the instructor is in the pool, shes come on leaps and bounds, jumps in, goes under water, its a miracle.
    xx

  • Hair done cost £50 for full highlights cut n blow dry. Happy although still shocked how blonde it is. I have boring mousy hair. Size 12 right now seems miles away. Bonus was that I sold her £20 of body shop so thats been added to the sealed pot. No other spends today.

Good to hear how well your DD is doing M21 Its wonderful to see them progress. Got DD1 and her friends to cook a pizza for themselves earlier and we still have a kitchen.

Done some work this evening ready for tomorrow in Telford so hope it pays off. Still got expenses and milage to do by tomorrow midnight.

  • Ooops long day compltely forgot about expenses thanks for reminders. No chance of shopping unfortunately lft at 8 and got back at 7.20 with no break. OH put dinner in the oven which was a big help. If he hadnt the only shopping I would have done was Mcd's or Burgerking.

NSD just waiting for OH to tell me about the Amazon purchase he made for friend . He must know I get email confirmation.

Watching Bones and surfing before I tackle the mileage/expenses.

  • Yes he does as you would have picked up on here. Thankfully he does have good points I sometimes just need a reminder:D.

Done mileage which is the important bit as two months behind :o . £150 to claim back :j add some food expences and less personal calls. That I can do tomorrow and get in the post to manager.

Daft as it sounds I am very proud she can cook something even though its only a frozen pizza. No leaving the polystyrene bit underneath so kitchen over than the wrapping and plates showed no sign of damage. I did tell her what temp and time but nothing else.

Made coconut ice on Tuesday for her Guides badge mmmmmmm. Just got a cooked sweet to make so thinking of fudge.
