  • :rotfl: Just been having a wee read. Can't shoot em lol. I just divorced mine. Never been so well off in my life now that i have regular, decent maintenance from him. Every peeny is mine and I know where they are all going. Never knew before as he was so sly at nicking it from me  . Good luck and I can sympathise greatly with the kiddy clothing spends.

Hi KP...so sorry to read all isn't that well. Men can be so stubborn and bury their head in the sand can't they. I would be very frustrated if I were you. Maybe it's time you just took the bull by the horns, laid out a plan and said to him 'with the greatest conviction and no messing around' that that was what you had decided to do and he didn't have a say in it, as his way wasn't working!!!!!
Hope you get it sorted hun.

  • Hello

Thanks for the support everyone :A . Quiet day yesterday did nothing all day really except come on here throughout the day :o .

Baked some Millies cookies and gave £1 to DD1 for swimming but nothing else on the list touched.

Plan of action with OH is for me to start sorting throught my mountain of opened post for filing. Then I should find some of his unopened stuff and should be able to brooch (sp) the subject.

Back to work first so going to make kids lunchboxes and get dressed.

Hope you all have a great DFW day xx

    Hi KP
I've been lurking awhile on your diary, and just stopped now to have a proper read. I haven't posted cos I sort of don't know what to say, really. Except to say my own reaction - I couldn't bear to live in this situation wtih OH - and I was really glad to see that you're not financially linked or married. Hugs to you - I hope he gets with the programme a bit, it sounds unbearable.

  • He can and is a sweetie with many things just we disagree on some fundementals like his income. He has improved alot on it and hasnt added any more debt now for a few years. Thats me :(. Partly though I feel that he could contribute more.

Thanks for reading I know its hard to comment at times. I find that on various threads I read like the Helphelp brave little boy thread. Even yours and ISOM threads I read but can be blank at thinking of anything interesting to say.

Todays spends are £1 to the vending machine :o. Weekly shopping came to £60.90 so budget now £172.02/250. Me 12.40/40 Kids 6/50. Not too bad really.

Lost my phone  but found €37 in my bag. Swapped them for £30 with a colleague. I doubt Id get more anywhere else and its £30 more in my purse:j . Had them since last April so I have done well with the exchange rate lol.

  • OH found my phone :j . Spent £1 on that tempting vending machine today. Cheaper than me going to Tescos for lunch but no exactly healthy either so ME budget up to 13.40/40. £15 on guides/brownies so kids budget up to £21/50. Last spend which I could get back off Mum is £2.12 on postage. See how I feel about asking for that. She did offer to pay but I said wait to see the cost first because they are airmail.

Work going ok a bit bogged but moving. Out tomorrow for the second time this year. With a colleague so at least someone to yack to.

All else is quiet. Hope everyone else ok.

Haven't seen GR about in a while, Dizzys about abit so thinking of you both. Hoping no news is goood news.
