People in Birmingham love those weird brick fireplaces as well - I went to one that had a radiator in the fireplace! It was so odd. I just looked to see if it was still on rightmove but it must have sold cos I can't find it.0 -
You'd be surprised how people live. I get to visit lots of peoples houses in the course of my work, and by far the worst ones are those of Directors and upper management!!0

My boyfriend has to go into lots of houses for work, and has seen some sights. He says most of them you have to "wipe your feet on the way out".0 -

Arh, wood laminate flooring and a flat screen TV, that'll be one of them thar "executive homes"!
My friends told me I hadn't been very wise in my purchase of my house - because we didn't have a "pebble" fireplace on the wall.
I pointed out that when you are spending hundreds of thousands of pounds, a £150 B&Q fireplace isn't going to seal the deal. They couldn't quite get their heads round it, and think I'm common because I have carpet rather than laminate. :rotfl:0 -

Back to the original house
That definately looks like a repo, repos always seem to have kiddies toys scattered in the garden, maybe the ex-owners trying to elicit sympathy.0
