    hi Wizmark.

Just had a quick browse at you web page and see that you have listed all of the dell offers.

I just wondered how much better value for money this one is over the other cheaper offers. I dont play games particularly but hope to keep a machine as 'Future proof' as you can hope for.

Also, is it better to get a 3rd party sound card and aspeakers from Ebay or what do you suggest?

Thanks in anticipation of your assistance,

This is probably one of the better bargains that Dell have introduced for a couple of weeks.

I would certainly recommend this system and would suggest you probably go to ebuyer and purchase a better set of speakers.

I think that the Dell 5150 systems already come with 5.1 Channel sound !

As far as the cheaper dell deals go that are listed on my site. They should infact be alot cheaper !

Maybe Dell will reduce them next week - Let's hope eh !

    Hope this helps !

Just off out for a while to purchase some motherboards - I'll reply to any other posts, if need be later.

    Have a good day !

  • Is this a good machine to play games such as rome total war sims 2 etc. Have been waiting for a good deal for a while, wil this be as good as I will get?

The system has a dvdrw, does this copy dvds and is it not neccessary to have a cd drive also?
    Nice to save.

Its a good deal pc at present ( i,m placing my hopes on a even better one nearer christmas). The dvd rw can be used for recording both dvds and cds whilst for gaming the pc is fine unless you going to play demanding games like halo2 even then you would ok so long as you dont have your settings maxed. A dedicated graphics card is a must have if you going to play such games to the highest detail especailly online games like wow.
  • I bloody hate dell.

I just purchased three lower spec 5150's for the same price as these, on Friday.

think they would have debited my card yet? Could I cancel and reorder these?
