not to go into a rant but its a nightmare
people say the driver never rung the buzzer, yet the buzzer doesnt show a name or flat number
the buzzers just dont work
they use the address /3 (meaning flat 3) but live at 3F3 and wonder why they never got a card
organise redeliveries then are not in
and loads more0 -

Peoples lacks understand to how things work is incredible. It;s as if a courier or the rm only have their parcel to deliver, and if necessary should dedicate the whole day to it.
This thread is pain in the back side at times, but this is the one area which is remotely amusing- expecting the world for £7.....good luck!0 -
Freight Search http://www.freightsearch.com/parcel.php
This lot are good I've just gone with them for an envelope of documents door to door to the Philippines they use TNT and charge £33 - Fedex wanted £42 and DHL £56. The guy told me they do good deals on UK domestic parcels via DHL0 -
Can anybody recommend a cheap way of having a mountain bike delivered (without taking it to bits & boxing it) All the companies I have tried insist it should be boxed.
Cheers.0 -
If you wish to send it via a large parcel company you'll need to package it
A small independant courier will be able to transport it as it is though0 -

I've been following this and the original thread since the beginning and I think it's blatently obvious that a number of the posts are from users who's sole existence on this site has been to praise a given, usually obscure courier company. If this was the Courier Saving Expert site, I could understand this, but it's hardly the place where people are just gonna stumble across a courier related post on their first visit and think "my god, what a coincidence, I just *must* let all these wonderful people know about this *amazing* courier company I just used...".
Obviously you can't stop it but, maybe worth noting on the OP that the thread has a suspiciously large number of first posters seemingly advertising companies, and to only trust more frequent posters and general feedback instead of just "ACME Couriers FTW!" type posts.0
