I've had nothing but my Order Acknowledgment email, no PDF or dear John letter. Think I will log a call shortly so it's on record.

Did the people who received the cancellation email ever receive the PDF?, cos I have receieved my PDF but no cancellation email yet.

I recieved my pdf first,
Then I raised an order status query with Email Customer Care - Order Status (KMM1150580I6768L0KM)

and then had the email reply.

Similar, I replied to the email with the PDF attached and got the reply this morning - no explanation, just 'order has been cancelled'.

I also replied to the PDF email but the email didnt get through, so I think I'll leave it for now and see what they send. Thanks for the quick reply guys!!

ordered 2 x 19" LCD's and just received a PDF advising that an order has been placed for 2 x 17" CRT's.

Nobody there today so a little email has been sent as they are anticipating a despatch date of 20th November so we will see if they correct things by then or just tell me to get lost.

I am a trade customer so it will be interesting to see the approach they take.

Just to clarify,

the email I received from Dell was a reply to my email, sent yesterday, querying the incorrect details on the PDF - they had obviously tried to check the order status and found that it had been cancelled.

The email was not a 'cancellation email' as such.

the plot thickens! I ordered a couple of these and then got the .pdf which showed 2 x 17" CRTs. However the values were all zero. I couldn't track this on the web as it said it had found the order but couldn't advise the status. Pretty much the same as everyone else so far.

This morning I got the Dear John email telling me it was an error and had been cancelled. So I goes online to order tracking a few mins ago and it can now miraculously find my order and it tells me it's been dispatched by Walsh Western :eek:

However it says it's dispatched 2 x 17" CRTs but the box number and the box weights are all listed as zero. Just !!!!!! is going on with Dell on this one - does anybody know, do even they know :rotfl:

This is going to be one big headache sorting this one out, if or when these zero boxes of no weight and with no value on the .pdf arrive :rolleyes:
