Are they flexible with this rule?

My pc runs vista and it passed, besides you are not even in windows so it makes no difference if you run win95 or vista, as long as your computer is up to the task, actually I don't get why the high processor speeds taht are needed, linux uses less resources than windows.

they recommend the company below for this, but to let you know that it is a basic crb check needed, and its more expensive outside scotland to get this one done, just over £35 for I think.

An example I can give is when working at NTL a few years ago we looked at a customers telephone usage whilst they were telling us their tale. There were packages for free land line calls and things with the top one being £15 a month (or £15.50 a while ago now!) for free calls upto 1 hour to any laneline number and I think it was 2p a minute off mobile calls. I would imagine there will be a similar thing here, might be getting them on the emergency boiler service or it might be getting a gas only customer to take electricity as well, that kind of thing. We cross sell products like upgrades and offering new products, its all inbound calls and you are not cold calling people, you get a £1 for each product sold, most of your clients coming in are service calls, complaints and breakdowns, with an opportunity to sell on almost all calls.

You are not involved in gas/electric side of things, but the scenario above is pretty much what you do, I started today taking calls, it was a very tough day with some frustrated customers because I couldn't do all things quickly enough, and your sales pitch goes out of the window still it is a work in progress.

When I completed my personal licence a few years ago the scottish disclosure was good enough even though I live in England. I want to go the cheapest route. Has anyone in England registered with these and used the Scottish basic disclosure?

(mine CRB is 15 months old and scottish disclosure about 3 years, I guess neither will count now will they?)

I just checked this and its either an upgrade or replacement PC OR £200 bonus once 60 hours are complete. This is for the first 100 successful applicants.

Looks like I will kick my desktop back into life then and try for the £200 bonus!

Hi Taffy,

Can you give us an indication to the number of calls you are currently receiving/completing every hour? Are they consistent in coming through to you, or is there a substantial pause between them?
