you will receive the disk before you start the bgs training, but to be honest you won't need it for the training at all until the 4th day and then only to do a couple of things.

don't worry you ain't been misled they will get it to you from canada via dhl before this weekend anyway!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

You mentioned VAT, is it a requirement to register for VAT to do this?

Is it more of a sales role than customer services then?

Makes no difference what version of windows you have, you don't use it you use linux from a bootable

Taffy056, sorry to be a pain but I'm confused now, because it says on the spec list:-

Windows Based Clients: Windows VISTA OS is NOT permitted.
NOTE: Please contact your local PC Technician to install Windows XP if required.

Are they flexible with this rule?

I doubt it. From my experience you are usually asked to "up-sell" if possible. An example I can give is when working at NTL a few years ago we looked at a customers telephone usage whilst they were telling us their tale. There were packages for free land line calls and things with the top one being £15 a month (or £15.50 a while ago now!) for free calls upto 1 hour to any laneline number and I think it was 2p a minute off mobile calls. So if they had on average £20 a month of landline calls I would offer this package as it would save money and allow them to talk longer if necessary. We got £1 for every one sold (to 100 a month and then £4 per one after that if I remember it correctly)

I would imagine there will be a similar thing here, might be getting them on the emergency boiler service or it might be getting a gas only customer to take electricity as well, that kind of thing. Could also be a home mover setting up an account or someone ringing to switch, I would see all these as feasible senarios.

Perhaps someone already doing this or who has done the training could clarify.

  • I received an email from ContactXchange yesterday which asked me to accept or decline the offer of an interview, I accepted, so how long should I expect to wait before having my interview? Thanks
