It would be better if they would do a cheap deal for a single person rather than cater for people with children as they usually do. we don't all have (or want) children but we always seem to lose out when it comes to deals. It is time that changed so people without kids finally startred getting something back.

If you don't have (or want ) kids, why on earth would you want to go to a caravan park full of screaming kids where the entertainment is of the dress up as a bear and dance variety?

That's a good point. Mine are grown up now, and we only have the 2 dogs, a rented cottage or solitary caravan would be better for us, but it is very expensive. we might just stay at home.

Had a Sun holiday years ago with the kids, Butlins MInehead. It was excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. Only thing, take your own frying pan and a sharp knife. They are usually garbage in those places.

We have no kids and are going just the 2 of us. Will avoid kids' entertainment etc like the plague!! But still a much cheaper base than B&B for 3 nights to explore the area. Also hoping during term time will be quieter. Looking forward to it - will treat park as a laugh with ironical smiles!! :D

While I agree that it may seem to be unfair if you have to pay for 4 when they are only 2 of you it is still a cheap holiday. I think that the holidays are aimed at families (especially with kids) that would not get a holiday otherwise.

It would be nice if they were some limited places if you shared with strangers as not everyone knows another couple that wants to go at the same time.

No, the point is that people with kids always seem to do well in this country and that should stop. single people pay just as much tax as anyone else so should be entitled to the same as families

Why should families doing well stop! Married people pay tax too. What aren't you entitled to that families are?

Why not put you effort into enriching your life in ways that you can instead of worrying about what others do or have?

Enrich in what way? By having kids? I don't think that enriches your life.

I am surprised at some of the comments regarding families on here!

I am a single mum with 3 boys and my wages have to pay for all of us! As a single person your wage goes totally on YOU!!!

I know which of us has it tougher!!
