Why don't you go with a couple of friends then, it doesn't have to be a family. I've always found the holidays to be good value.
It would be better if they would do a cheap deal for a single person rather than cater for people with children as they usually do. we don't all have (or want) children but we always seem to lose out when it comes to deals. It is time that changed so people without kids finally startred getting something back.

But the thing is with the sun holidays they are generally based at holiday parks which are primerialy designed for families. In addition most of the accomadiation is designed for 4 plues people. IMHO single people have so much more choice of holidays that those with children, singles can go anywhere and stay anywhere without having to worry if the place is child friendly.

You can always borrow a couple of my children;)
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

I have only one child and I still have to pay for 4 sharing. If it doesn't suit you do something else. We are going half term and it means we can have a break, if it wasn't for the offer I wouldn't pay half term prices.

No, the point is that people with kids always seem to do well in this country and that should stop. single people pay just as much tax as anyone else so should be entitled to the same as families

I agree with that one! I have to buy big packs of stuff foodwise too for 2 of us.
But for the holidays, does anyone know how to find out if dogs are allowed on any of the sites please?

Can I be 2nd to blag a priority form please as also dont seem to get them anymore  despite booking up previous sun holidays.
  • Barneysmom - I think you would have to go into each site individually and it will say at the bottom if pets are welcome (at extra cost of course!) If it doesn't specify then I would think you have to assume they are not welcome. I found a few but not many.

£25 extra per dog on Park-Resorts sites..

That would pay a cleaner an extra four hours, when in reality they clean the caravan as quickly as ones that didn't have a dog in them. Its just another example of rip-off Britain.
