I've been on Sun holidays almost every year for the past 10 years, however once you factor in all the hidden charges they are not always that much cheaper.
I had an email from Parkdean holidays yesterday sayiing you could get a 4 night break for £80 at the Looe bay park, with the sun that would be £38 plus the £10 for the "entertainment" pass, then your gas and electric and linen charge on top of that. Not a lot of difference and if you have a certain date or park you would like to go for then it would be worth checking the prices direct with the park before booking through the sun.
And why do people ask for thanks at the bottom of every post? its pretty sad.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

We have been on quite a few £9.50 sun holidays...and always find them good value, especially if you take your own bedding, and if your not into the entertainment that's makes it really cheap as you usually pay extra for the passes. If you manage to get a date in school holidays you can save quite a bit. But if your doing it online you need to be quick to get the more popular places....I tried it at around 6am once and still couldn't get the park and date we wanted, how do people get the paper for the last token earlier than that?!0
