Morning - been reading thread when I get time, just not much of it as also back with flying and need to catch up on that too! Hugs to all who need them.
Total for Sept so far is £154.95, which seems alot but ran out of a bit of stuff all at once and got some good deals on kids drinks, cheeses and yoghurst in MrA on Wed that I had to buy them, should have enough for 2 or 3 weeks so worth it. Started making my own bread again, bought myself a new BM Morphy Richards Fastbake, my old one gave up the ghost a few months ago and I was going to make by hand but have not got round to it. Only done 3 loaves so far and baked in the machine and I must say the MR is far superior to my old one(was very cheap) and actually tastes like bread. DH was impressed with it which is saying something!
Have a good week everyone and I will be back soon.

Morning all
Have 3 really cheap easy days planned :T Hubby left for golf at 5:30 this morning and won't be back until about 10pm  ....golfing,, then tomorro and Sunday he has golf comps -so will get his main meals provided :j So im spending 3 days on a serious x stitch/knitting fest
Then hubby is off for 2 weeks - so im using him being home for lunches (when not golfing) to use up some stuff from the freezer-i WILL make space
Have got a bowl of dough proving..and thats all im doing today-everything else is ok -ooh have got a load of washing inhubbys kit but thats my lot
Still only spent €2 this month and we are 12 days into our month -so that gives me 11 NSDs out of 12 :A :rotfl: ... really can't think of anything im desperate for..but Monday will be a tootle to collect blackberries and a stop off at the NAAFI -just to check for any super bargains
As a bonus -hubby had a mate visiting the UK last week and asked him to bring back some marmite -we are addicts:D -out here a 125g jar is nearly €3 about £2.40  and we were on our last one ..he came back with 6x500g jars -£27s worth -but here it would have cost us £57.60  ...but the best thing of all is that hubby is going to do some work on the guys car... so hubbies wages are "6 jars of marmite and a crate of 20x0.5litre bottles of beer" so I don't have to pay for it :j
Nikki - Yep I saw the idea about putting a note on the list..have done it..thanks
Phoolgrrl -glad you had no problems using your voucher
Fertyskids... Sorry im not sur about the yeast..I only use fresh and do it by hand..I have used a BM and dried many moons ago but never the dried for hand baking only ..hopefully someone will be along with the answer soon
Right ...back off to my crafting..have a great day everyone:D-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

A nsd yesterday, but then have spent £4.64 today - I really have found this thread to be so useful , but it is a beast and you could spend a long time trying to keep up with it, though I don't know what the answer is. Good luck to all with their challenges.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Hi
shaz_mum_of_2 and pip squeak
Thank you for replies, I will be looking into both of your ideas, but also I have a bought a differant grease proof, apparantly it sticks to nothing, so may be a combination of new paper and your ideas/recipes I may get it right lol.
Been to Mr A's this morning and got 2 lots of Lenor, will be taking my lid back later for my free bottle,
also Mr A's have raspberies at 1.20 and peaches 1 pound.
Got 2 lots of bread flour as it was 48 pence.
My raspberries are use by the 6th (today)
so was wondering if I could freeze them, either whole or as a crumble.
And when freezing a crumble do you make it as normal, fuit and crumble together or seperate.
