Do a google search but go in a couple of pages, I found a copy of the original for £2.50 from an online book shop. HTHMy self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
So we’re empty nesters.
Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman0 -

Dont know if anyone else has noticed(i'm sure you have) but i always used to buy tomato puree in the tubes because i 'thought' it would be cheaper than the little tins, erm no, its not actually. As i discovered in Mr S yesterday the tubes are nearly double the price per 100g:eek: Tubes are 23p per 100g and the little tins are 12.1p per 100g Hope that helps someone, i stocked up on the tins before they whack the price up.
Off to update sig.
I usually freeze the other half of the tin in a small tub then just pop it out when next needed. My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).

Was well impressed yesterday went to Asda and bar one thing i only got what was on list. I was especially pleased when I discovered loose bananas were only 50 a kg as we eat loads so I bought a big bag of them only to look at the receipt as I was walking out of the store to discover I had been charged 77p a kilo
Off I marched to customer services to discover a queue of people who had also been overcharged for bananas. It seems the 50p a kilo offer was on at the weekend and the signs hadn't been taken down even though till had been reset. Whoppie got full refund so bananas free and a very frustrated staff member who was on the radio trying to get sign removed before we took all asda's profits!!!!!
Not sure I'm going to be inside target this month as have to round up receipts from yesterday but won't be far over, so well pleased with myself, as extra savings are going towards holiday fund for next year. Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

Mrs McM. Declaring £93.21 for September. This is £26.79 under budget so can you put me down for £100 for October please.
Spent £15.78 in Mr A today. Just wanted fruit, milk and eggs but bought more. However, it was all stuff I needed, rather than impulse buying and I thought about each item before buying, e.g. white vinegar for cleaning, malt vinegar to make green tom chutney. Bought a 2kg pack of gran.sugar for £1.61 rather than my normal Billingtons unrefined (would have preferred this but it was British grown with recyclable packing etc.). Couldn't get the Dove organic white bread flour at 69p so didn't buy any bread flour at all.
My current challenge to myself is to use the oven for more than one item.
