I had booked flights for next summer! £1700 paid by credit card. Am I right in thinking I'll be ok for a refund because I used a credit card?
I feel sorry for people already away or due to go soon. At least I have plenty of time to look for new flights.0 -

yeah should be ok as your covered by section 75 of the consumer credit act. No idea how long refund takes, suppose it might depend on your credit card company.

Hhhhhheeeelllllppppp!0 -
i booked my seats by using Debit card, would i get a refund and if yes what should i do?0
-
Do try BA. No really - you might get a good price depending on when you're going.
Also, if you were flying to Vancouver and are hiring a car, then why not fly to Seattle instead? Flights to Seattle are sometimes half the price.
www.skyscanner.net, https://www.airline-network.co.uk or www.orbitz.com are the places to look in my opinion.
I wish Skyscanner would stop changing their website though - every update gets worse!
Lufthansa via Frankfurt is often good price-wise.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
This is no surprise really, their flights were so cheap!0
