GTA LCS is biggest name game.
That is what I meant, although you've stated it much clearer.
And I think you're right about firmware altering - the trojan that turned PSP's into £180 paperweights was proof enough for me.
Either get it to 1.5 and stay there, or stay current with Sony's firmware is the best option I think. For now, at least.0 -
If you've got a macro card and want the psp without the expensive bundle stuff i'd have a talk with someone on the electronics desk in there. Got one this morning with no queues, no hassle, no expensive add ons. Macro price £152.99 + VAT came to £179.76 - the same as they should be in the shops without the bundles. You'll just have to find out when they have a delivery and arrive the day they come in.0

Got an email from sendit yesterday to say my standalone Giga Pack had been dispatched.
Have to say this is the second time I have bought from them and I am very impressed with the way they email to keep you up to date about, well everything really. They also answered my email query about something on their site very quickly and changed the site wording about the details in question, within a few hours.
That aside, how do I find out what firmware version it is? Does it say on a label or something?Herman - MP for all!0 -

To find out what firmware it is you have to start it up and go in to system settings in the menu. Scroll down to system info and it tells you in there.0 -

It will be V2.01 or V2.5.
So you wont be about to downgrade to V1.50 -

At thew moment only firmware upto v2.0 can be downlaod to play HOMEBREW games. (Games played from the memory stick)
V2.01 and V2.5 cannot be downgraded yet. Therefore you are stuck with UMD games.
However movies can be played from the memory stick on any version.0 -
i ordered a PSP over 4 weeks ago and i still havn't received it yet. there suppport system is very poor. you cannot contact them by phone and do not reply to emails.0

Managed to get my son a gigapack from our local woolies on Saturday, one of two they had just had delivered. However it really hacks me off that I have had to pay for two useless games as well. He has been waiting for six weeks for a value pack from Play.com so I couldnt make him suffer a wait into the new year.
I just hope that we can get a reasonable trade in for the still wrapped games.0 -
Is that the value pack with the free Donnie Darko UMD that you've been waiting for??? Thats what I ordered last week, and still waiting ..... do I cancel and go for another elsewhere, where is my decision dice !!!!0
