I am after the GIGA pack but having phoned several retailers they all insist on bundling 2 games including the football.

Does anyone know where I can get the GIGA pack without the silly football game

I was told this morning by HMV in Glasgow and by phone by Gameplay that Sony are not releasing any stand alone consoles before Christmas. You can only get Gigapack bundles.

In an earlier post Rattla mentioned that someone at HMV said that they will have some consoles but they weren't in yet and would maybe be in this afternoon.

Other than this, if you haven't pre-ordered it I think you might be out of luck. Have a look at the update on www.psp-deals.co.uk

Further to my previous mails, I can now confirm that I am unable to buy the Giga pack seperately. My HMV were only just informed and are only selling it with World Soccer and Pursuit Force.

The World Tour Soccer game is included with every pack. The other game varries by retailer, but is generally pursuit force or one of the release day games. I have seen it with Everybodys Golf, Wipeout Pure, WRC, Fired Up, Ridge Racer and I think Virtua Tennis.

Overkill of the day probably has to go to GAME for their Sony PSP Biga Giga Bundle at..... £1089.95 !!!
This includes : 26 games (probably all UK released games), 2 UMD's and some accessories.

Nice scam from Sony to get rid of a lot of games that probably wouldnt sell that many (World Tour Soccer)

I was waiting to get Giga pack, but now feel annoyed, Sony know thay will still sell after the shortage that was probably caused by them anyway just to create a rush of sales now where people will buy them with any games they have to just to get one.

Yeah with a massive saving of £20 from the retail price. How big of them.

sendit will not take any new orders for standalone Giga Pack.

The stocks that are arriving on Tuesday have already been allocated.

Yep, I feel cheated too. I was looking forward to buying a PSP for a birthday present in time for 4/12. Heard about GIGA pack and thought I would wait only to find that the £214 GIGA pack is not available.

SONY are obviously forcing people to buy Football game, GAME said they will only give me £10 part ex for it. Obviously will not be able to sell on Ebay as everyone will have a copy.

Along with their price hikes for internet sales and the recent CD copy protection fiasco I think that SONY are going out of their way to P**S a lot of people off.

Hi I just got my psp giga pack without the crappy games at Gamestation in Stirling who still have 5-6 left if anyone is interested. What they did was sell me the whole thing with games, then take 30 quid off plus my five pounds deposit. So got it all for 229. Did all this over the phone and collect it on Sunday.
