Perhaps not enough bicarb was used? I normally find it excellent for absorbing odours.
Haven't tried the bicarb yet.
You recommend a paste rather then just using it like shake n vac.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Sorry not a very nice subject, but if someone is sick use the loose wheat/ bran that you can get in health food shops and sprinkle on. It absorbs all the moisture and then you can scrape up and set about cleaning the carpet with a vinegar/water solution which will elliminate smells.0

I am going to state the obvious and say that the best course of action is to head to the nearest toliet when you know you're about to chuck, or a even a bush outside if the loo is too far away:rolleyes:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

God Im making myself feel ill now0 -
Thanks for that. I can't do clearing up vomit at all. It makes me do the same. So on the rare occasions it has happened. I get a shovel full of dirt out of the garden and throw on it. I can deal with it then. But the bran sounds as if it would be much better.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Cat litter would serve even better, methinks. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

I have trained the children well. It rarely happens, but if it does they know to catch it in a towel, or any other item, even their clothing, which is then to be put into the washing machine on rinse. They know I will not assist! Awful, but I just can't do it.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

Not the pleasantest subject, it's true, but useful info as far as I'm concerned.
I've just started as a dog-sitter for a home-from-home pet care service, so I'll be having other peoples' dogs to stay; law of averages suggests that sooner or later one of them is bound to be sick indoors. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
