How can Mr Z say rude words and they stay on the screen? Does he know something we don't?

I dont mind. It makes me laugh.

Porge dont laugh petal. Not for a few weeks.

OH NO dont watch Jeremy Kyle. I had to train myself to see again by watching that for one, two and 3 minutes a day. Nearly went bonkers.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what he can watch while he is stuck at home? He is NOT ALLOWED to work. Do we all agree? Maybe you can use catch up and watch Andrew Marr's Global Cities programme, the Apprentice is funny, Newsnight etc but it is a bit grim.

There was a documentary on tv about famous brands. Gosh, well i never!!!! Iron Bru is the most popular drink up your way, considered patriotic and it is the only soft drink market in the world that Kokey Koke hasn't managed to conquer.

I dont mean to be disrespectful but it didn't taste v nice but well done all the same.

I am lead to believe by a Scottish colleague that it has nothing to do with Scottish patriotism or a dislike of Coke but the fact that it has a higher sugar content than any other drink on the market so therefore making it more of a health issue so the Scots lap it up.

George I hear that you are on the path to recovery, I hope it is speedy and I wish you all the best. Jim.

  • Hey George, what shocking news, bit flipping scary! Thank GOd they got you sorted, aside from the !!!!!! nurse of course. I am thinking you would be the worst patient ever especially with other family members in and out of hospital but PLEASE REST. I can almost feel the worry of work, your health and life in general jumping out of the computer, I know they seem important but really you deserve a break, enjoy the small things in life? good TV, the first cup of coffee, bacon sandwiches.......you know the stuff

and perhaps post here a bit more, for the laughs?

    Love Buffy xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    This rather prompts the questions:
    • Have Snoopy's feet been amputated?
    • Should he really be that pleased to see Woodstock?

Just popped in to let everyone know i'm still alive and kicking.

Will possibly have enough to settle the bank loan - will need to ask for another early settlement value from them. I think using the rule of 78 i will save only about £40-£50 but it's better in my pocket than theirs. Just hope i have done the numbers right and amn't a month ahead of myself.

Got a week's extension to my sick leave - noticed the wound was weeping a little yesterday, but i just phoned the surgery and they passed the extension request on to the doc. Not had a checkup or anything, but will arrange one for the end of next week as i'll hopefully be walking more and will need to get some strength back before going back to work.

Still taking things easy and stating away from the computer - just so i don't spend a few hours in the one position and regret it later. Hope everyone else is keeping better.
