Tixy!!! How'd you find me - i thought i was well hidden and obscure
Was good meeting you too.

Hmm, so long since my last update, not sure if i'll remember everything.
Went 'darn sarf' for the wedding which was quite nice. Never got to spend much time with my cousin who was getting married, but some relatives came over from America to see them and we met up - was great to see them again and their little girl to. Sooooo cute.
A few days later, went down again for a rave at Wol's. Didn't really get a chance to talk to her much but she was running about all over the place. Somehow i don't think that's an isolated incident. Met some other MSE'ers there and had a good time. Was good to put some new faces to old names.
Work? Blaaaaah!!!
Really mega busy right now. Lots of complicated projects on the go right now and not enough time to do them. Alot are half finished right now and need to be completed asap. Also doing training so that i can create a database for the company, which i have zero experience in doing, and they'll be wanting this completed asap too. All of these things are over and above my normal duties!! Not well right now (recovering though) but i can't afford the time off work.
Umm, managed to make a big payment off one of my cards - was saving up for the wedding and rave but got a bonus and have kept that back for a few months incase i needed it. Was going to build up a cushion, but if i can get rid of the balance on the Lloyds card, i may be able to do a BT back to it from the Egg card for when the 0% runs out. This is close to Christmas, but i think i'll have enough for pressies too.
Right, i'm signing out for now. Really tired and need to shake the last of this virus.
Hope everyone's okay.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Doesn't time fly?
Spent hardly any time at all on the site this month.
Lets see, what's going on?
Did my training (2 days worth) and even the trainer said this was more complicated than they thought it would be. I've had an introduction to the basics of Access and will need to produce a working database application in about 3 months. What could be easier?
Still not finished the programming of the other stuff - just so busy right now with the usual work (and extra work coming in) that i've had hardly any time to really tackle it. I now know i need to stop programming at about 10pm or i can't get any sleep. Head just keeps plowing through the data trying to find various ways of getting it completed. Aaaaargh.
Finally feeling a bit better health wise. Still not got any appetite, but at least i don't feel ill.
Almost forgot to make payments to the Lloyds card. Payment due by 10th (2 days earler than usual) and i only did the payment tonight. Hope it's going to be okay - or i might lose the 0%. I'm totally frazzled right now - don't know what i'm doing half the time.
At least the debt's going down okay. Hopefully next month i'll be able to get it down to 4 figures, but that may be pushing it a little. Signing off now - so tired. Will try to update a little more often and get this bloomin' coding out the way. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Hardly been here at all this month. Too many things going on.
SIL's mum died, so went to visit for a little and go to funeral.
Felt ill while i was there and am still not too good. Dizzy sometimes too but the doctor didn't say anything about that.
Work's still hectic. I'm falling behind on one project i've only spend one afternoon on in the last month because boss keeps asking me to tie up loose ends on another project. This one i'm falling behind on is going to be a mountain i need to climb - need to learn how to use new software, then program it - even though the programming language is slightly different to what i've used before...
Yikes!
Christmas is coming - will need to think about what pressies to get everyone and have a look at the finances. Hopefully the Egg card will be paid off by then - i might not clear everythign before i lose all the 0% offers, but i should get pretty close.
Going to update sig and call it a night.
Need a long hot bath as i got totally soaked today - don't need a cold on top of everything else.

Will update with another new balance in a day or so - been so busy at work i've not had time to come on here much. Hope everyone's okay and still kicking the debt monster (and any others that are lurking around).
Work got even more crazy this month. Was working on completing a coding project and had to drop it as one of the other offices hadn't done any data input for a client and the code i was still working on was to create a report that they wanted. Of course they wanted it before the end of the week.
Did the data input and then spent ages trying to do all the calculations for each transaction manually. Still not sure i got it all correct, but i wasn't given all the information anyway so the figures they got would just be a rough estimate at best.
I'll really need to finish that blooming coding and then get onto the database stuff. Still only doing it when i'm not doing my usual job - and so many interruptions. Looks like i'll be working late most nights now until Christmas. Just wish i could motivate myself to get on with it as it feels like a real chore and concentration just isn't there.
Right, enough moaning - for now.
I applied for another credit card - i think i got it but it's taking a loooong time to come in the post. Typical it couldn't snow after i got it. Not going to use if for another balance transfer, but will put all purchases from now until Christmas on it as it's 0% for 10 months. Just checked my old HBOS login and the new card is there with £4,150 limit. No way i'll be spending that much but hopefully this will allow me to plow all my available funds into clearing my LTSB card before i need to pay any interest on it.
Well, i thought it was a good idea. No reason in paying a transfer fee or interest to a bank is there? Now just need to wait on getting the plastic and the pin. I know i need some shoes with better grip for a start lol. Will do a little window shopping and see what pressies i can get and what offers are available.
Tight? Me? (Is it cos i is Scottish?)
As Billy Connoloy once joked, "if you were any tighter, you'd whistle when you fart".
Will (hopefully) update in a couple of days. Better get back to doing this coding and get it out the way... so i can get the database finished for the new year.

Well done.
You are working too hard. I know it'll be worth it in the end but please do rest a bit.
I know i am bashing my head against a brick wall. We are all so proud of you.

Have you seen these? http://www.yaktrax.co.uk/ Guy at work has them and reckons they do work. Though you do the usual shopping around of course...Tight? Me? (Is it cos i is Scottish?)

Almost done with the creditcards now - will be adding Christmas spending to the new one (when it finally arrives), but this will be 0% on purchases so that should be paid off soon too.
It's getting difficult to get into work now. Had trains cancelled and even buses cancelled. What do they expect? That i'll just come in to work and not care about getting back home? To be fair, they've been very generous about letting people get away early and stuff so can't really complain about that - i'll just complain about the weather
I thought i would have until the new year to get the report coding i've been working on completed. Imagine my joy when i realised that due to a metting happening on Wednesday, it may be required for then with a demo!!!
Please snow! Please snow! Please snow!!!!
It should be finished by now, but there are so many distraction and other jobs that need done i can't really spend any length of time on it. If i got snowed in i could probably complete it in a week. As long as the oldies didn't pester me too much of course
Not much else happening right now other than work - few Christmas lunches to attend and the work's dinner. A few week yet before that happens though. I guess i'll need to start getting the pressies bought - i'll window shop until the card arrives.
Right, i'm orf for now. Take care everyone. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
