Looks like i'll need to crunch the numbers when i find out how much the Denplan will be going up. I forgot about the Win7 operating system i had ordered when rebuilding the computer.
Payment will be taken from your debit or credit card just before we confirm
    and dispatch your order.
That's another £69.93 going out. It was going to be a bit tight before after the paycut to see if i could afford the payments once the Virgin deal ended, but now i need to make sure.

Probably won't know what the figure is until December or possibly January. I'll also need to try to get another 0% card or a new offer within about a month for the Virgin deal ending. This is so not fun. :(
After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

    Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
    Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0

    Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/2011
  • It will be doable George, I am sure you will have no problem getting the 0% cards. There is another MBNA card you can get which allows you to BT even if it is the same company..i have read that a few folk have done that.
Maybe worth applying and see where you get.

A little late on the update, but was hoping to try to get all finances sorted before doing this.

    New balance: £16,357

Got an EGG card (0% for 12 months) but only 2k limit. Managed to transfer the remainder to Lloyds at 4.9% for 6 months. Left it a little late though so i'll probably need to pay some interest on the Virgin aco!!!!.

Reduced my credit limit on the LTSB card - from 12,300 to 7,300. Hopefully that'll put me in a better position if i need to get another 0% card.

Shoulder still sore, had one root canal filling and getting the other one later this month. Tooth with the crown doesn't feel right either - like there's pressure on it or something. Falling to bits in other words.

Hectic at work too and just can't concentrate - getting to crunch time for some things so i need to get my head right (then the rest of me).

Its just a job it pays the bills xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • A lot of sore shoulders about at the moment George. Do take care of yourself. x

    Me again...
Just think - this time next month

Been to dentist so hopefully won't need to go again for another 6 months. Got a 0% offer from BoS and 0.9% from Virgin - both 6 months so i'll need to see if it's worth the balance tranfer fee to use them. Might wait until the weekend for that.

Really need to start going to bed at a decent time too. Not in a routine and acting dozier than usual.

Only 10 day until the Edinburgh meet (i think - can't remember if it's 5th or 6th or if it wasn't specified??). Getting a little nervous about that actually.

:wave:I know I know - it'll be blummen Christmas! :xmastree:

But more importantly - you'll be under £16k won't you? Getting there my lovely. definitely getting there! :D :T

Blimey, I've just had a full catch up on this thread and had two (count em! ;)):coffee::coffee: and some toast. (Those hobbitss had the right idea about "second breakfast"! :D of course that'll mean an extra lap of the park today then - but at least it's sunny!:D

You should have seen me when I was reading about the toothache. I actually got out of my seat and ran around in a little loop whilst doing a kind of double wave flappy thing either side of my head and whimpering in empathy. Childbirth holds no terrors for me but toothache? *shudders*:o I'm so glad that's all sorted out.

My face looked a little bit more like this:  when I was reading about your hols. Bloody families! I'm sorry to hear that your bruv is moving out of the marital home but I feel compelled to have a little pre -emptive nag:

Please don't help him with his - bound to be a bit chaotic for while - finances at the expense of your own.

I'm just thinking about how money's always a nightmare when people split up - and we know what you're like young man don't we? Too bliddy nice for your own good! :D

Still... the debt's moving in the right direction. Do you have a DFD in mind?

How's all that IT work you had dumped on you going?

    Love Jacks xxx :D

PS V jealous of you going to the Edinburgh meet!

    Hiya Jacks, thanks for posting.

Only going to the Edinburgh meet because that's where i work. Don't feel i live far enough away that i can avoid it :D

Thanks for the sympathy - can just picture you doing a bad rendition of the birdie song :p

Debt's moving in the right direction, but not budgeted for Christmas really so no idea where i'm going to end up. Don't have any safety net and hope to build this up again after the new year.

Brother hasn't actually contacted me since he moved to his flat so i'm guessing no news is good news. He knows i wouldn't be offering any money and don't think he'll ask as i've already spelled out last time that it was a one-off as he has a new job (and he could pay me back within 2 months )

Not done nearly enough on the IT stuff. It's still treated as one of those jobs i'll do when i have spare time. Too many interuptions so i lose my train of thought and need to keep going back over things just to find where i was. Still, i've got a week left before it gets desperate :rotfl:

DFD : If i push hard may be able to do it just before 2012, so say 2 years today
(Was that a challenge i just made myself?)

Glad to see you're going along okay and still debt free.
