Went to a Osteopath on Tuesday night. Not the guy i saw last time.
He thinks i've strained my neck and just worked on loosening my shoulders as they were really tight. I've possibly also pinched a tendon in my shoulder - that'll teach me to try to excercise.
I'm going to try phoning RBS and BOS today to see if i can get a BT deal - failing that i may apply for a new card. Got a huge limit on my LTSB card though so not sure if that will work. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Hi George
:hello:
I just got new Barclaycard 0% 12 months over the phone- (2.5% fee)......they turned me down 6 months ago(despite the fact I have my bank accounts, ISA's and offset mortgage with them)...so looks like they're after new business atm.
Hope the shoulders are loosening up a bit more (was once shown an intresting exercise involving holding a door frame and swinging myself around it to loosen up shoulders.......once i got the hang of it, it actually worked .....mind you, best to make sure there are no obstructions on the other side of the door like bookcases or furniture before you do it)

Hi Wol, is Bandit any better yet?
Got my fingers crossed for you.
Right, made the calls and there are no 0% offers. I can have :
BOS - 8.94% for LOB
RBS - 3.9% for 6 months
If i take into account a BT fee of 3% then the APR is about 5.02% for RBS (i think). Not too bad, but then i'll need to find something else in 6 months. I've left it a bit late to try to get a new card and transfer in time so i think i'll just do this for now, even though that will mean another 3% transfer fee in about 6 months.
Yup, that's what i'll do. Going to phone it through now - just need to check what the credit limit is and if it will all go through. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

That's over with for another few months at least.
Transferred 4085 (95% of the card limit) so i just need to pay the rest off before about the 6th when the 0% ends.
Will update my signature after all the payments have gone through for next month. I lose track of what's next without my workbook to hand - i think the Virgin card us up in a few months but hopefully i'll be able to use the LTSB card... again. :rolleyes:After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Thanks Elentan
Shoulders were really sore since i saw the Ostepath, but now my neck feels really tight. As long as i don't move it too much it should loosen up okay.
I actually hurt my left shoulder by trying to excercise - did 5 pushups.
Ostepath thinks i may have pinched a ligament or something. As it felt like there was something kind of trapped, i held on to the top of the door jam and lowered my weight onto the arm - arm felt fine. Next day my nech was killing me and both shoulders. Looks like that's when i strained my neck.
I knew excercise was bad for you!!After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Old balance was £17,192 (can't believe i forgot to post it )
New balance: £16,754 (now under 17k :j)
So what's been happening since the last updat?
Hmm, oh yes - went to the dentist with toothache again!!
After a few days of it going from niggling to painful, i made an appointment straight away. When in the chair, the only tooth that felt tender when prodded was the new crown - he said the root canal had probably failed and it would need to be extraced. Took an x-ray and away i went, pretty bummed.
Next day at work i tried to arrange an earlier appointment to see him as i was now in a fair bit of pain (i had forgot to ask about that). Nothing earlier so i asked the receptionist if he could give me a call as to whether i could have antibiotics or if i would need to see the doctor. Didn't hear back so i called again in the afternoon leaving another message with a different receptionist. Got a call back this time and he had looked at the x-ray and it was another tooth. Got antibiotics to take too.
2 days after starting the course a tooth below the new crown was really throbbing and definately the problem - not sure if that eans there are 2 problems though as he was taking an x-ray of the new crown on the top.
3 days later tooth is still hurting and i don't know what i'll be like if it doesn't ease any more before the 13th. Already half way through the antibiotics so not sure of what's going to happen.
Work - really busy, but not been able to concentrate due to the pain. Also been asked to do a kind of feasability test on a system we already have - without informing the person in charge of the system. It's something i've made a point of not being involved with and not been quiet about letting people know i wanted nothing to do with it as it seemed to me like we'd bought a lemon.
Now, because they want a decision to either continue with it, but to get what they require form it or to stop putting so much time and resources into it because we can't get what we need from it, i have a month to prepare a report on it and possible solutions. I'm also writing a program that will be used by all our offices and will need to complete it in the next month or two.
I'm not a programmer and 'm not in the IT department. Can you tell?
Nothing like a little pressure is there?
Oh yes, i was told tonight that my nieces will be staying for a few days from the 10th. I'll need to make sure i unplug everything to do with the computer this time!! Also found out that my brother just got the keys to a flat so it looks like he's moving out - don't know where they're going to go with this or if the seperation will be a permanent one.
Looks like i'm going to have hectic month at work and home - and my neck's still bothering me. Just as well i'm a misreable git or something like this could affect my sense of humour.
Edit: Oh yes, forgot about the financial update. Called Virgin to see when the 0% would run out and it is 27th Nov - a little earlier than i thought. I think i'll try to get a new 0% card rather than just tarting with the existing ones. If i fail i'll at least know what to expect in 6 months time and will be able to plan for it - i probably have too much credit available on the cards (£25,300) without even counting the fact i have a loan outstanding. Will need to look at what cards have the best offers and if they're associated with any of my existing cards.
Not looked at how much i'll have available for Christmas, so i'll need to start looking for cheap presents for everyone. (Can you tell i'm Scottish) I guess it'll also depend on how much it'll cost to fix my teeth this time and my neck. I don't like this getting old lark

There's good news and there's bad news.
The good news is i've been offered a 0% deal until July :j
The bad news is it's from RBS so i can't use it
I asked if i could get the BT that i'd just done put onto this rate, but no joy :rolleyes:After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Looks like the dentist is going to get pretty expensive. I've been told i need a new root canal filling, one replaced and that my dental chart had not been filled in properly so i will be moving from band B on Denplan to band D.
Not sure how much that's going to be each month - it may have just doubled. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Oh no, really sorry to hear that George, as if the dentist wasn't painful enough.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
