I know a lot of people find the dues very high
So, what is the total payable for a week in Tenerife, per year?I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
Sorry for the post necromancy, but I was reading through again today and saw this:trisontana wrote: »I see yet another semi-illiterate post from an employee of this scam company. Do they only employ people who fail English and grammar tests?
Don't DRI have minimum education requirements for their staff or do they just accept anyone?0 -
No - it isn't a scam company. Their resorts are good and of high quality. They employ foreign staff so their englsh may not be accurate, but it still is timeshare.
I've had 30 odd great years using the system, but it is never an 'investment' and unless very lucky you will not get your stake money back - that's a given.0 -
I think, Buzby, you may be in the minority here0

It depends on what accommodation and size of unit you choose, for me it will be around £870 per year0 -
Crikey! What would be the cost of a week in a comparable room in the same sort of resort for the matching time of year?I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0

Perhaps you're right and he's the one who has written to me from DRI (under an alias) telling me again "zere ees no escape" and that they will pursue me if in 18 months my 'debt' remains unpaid. However it now seems that at least those who signed up with GVC 10+ years ago have a possible 'out' in the wording of their Legal Documentation which provides for resignation by giving 7 days notice and sending back the membership certificate. I won't do the latter as I don't trust DRI with it and in any case it is in the hands of a lawyer as previously noted. I do however take Antenna's point that no-one has ever been taken to court on this issue - I don't see what they could expect to get out of it. I would just like to be able to stick it to them with a conclusive 'up yours'!
You all enjoyed your holidays with the upmarket apartments/resorts I take it? I've also sampled the superb resorts on offer, why don't you just pay for what you have, and can again enjoy, prices rise, changes in exchange rates occur, pay the fees and stop whining!0 -
I see that you work at Diamond Resorts International.
I used work there - perhaps I know you?I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -

First you should not be using the Buzby logo Second Diamond Resorts suck you in with a cheap holiday and turn nasty at the sales pitch. I was lied to by an earlier company they took over and things have got worse you never get the choice they promise or the best weeks and you find the same places on Google cheaper when you take into account the maintanence charges average £1,000 a year for 7.500 points0
