I think you can apply for financial help at her school if needed. Theres also a roaring trade in 2nd hand stuff at the Summer Fete.

On the Plus side DS1's school sweatshirt was only £8.50 & that was all he needed this year as last years still fits & is in good nick
Thanks to all who post comps :A :T

Nope, My DS1 goes through shoes like nobody's business! I only haven't bought a pair today because I had to buy him a pair 2 weeks before the end of last term because they were worn right through & wouldn't mend. Yup you guessed it he was playing football! Thankfully he'd rather play on the wing than in goal.:D

OMG!!! bella!!! he is alot worse than my lil man!, but why do they have to kick everything in new shoes? why, why, why? i buy expensive shoes, cheap shoes, and nothing lasts more than 6 weeks ever, have to buy velcro ones too as the laces get walked on (by him) and look tatty to quick xxxxx

    Hi Kelly

Have you read the comping guide yet? It is full of hints and tips on how to search.

Thanks Josie I will go check that out now!

    :D
  • Luckily I only usually buy one pair of shoes a year for DD & one pair of boots for winter but refuse to pay more than £10 a pair for them.
