Loopy, nobody is entitled to cross examine you or question your motives. I hope the constructive posts people have made have helped you - ignore the rest. Best wishes and good luck.

thanks errata, yes the constuctive help has been invaluable, thanks to everyone, getting things done now thro council & just donating what i can afford, ive taken on another job for a short while hoping to raise £100 to give the charity that is helping me.

i just need closure on a very difficult issue, as i was one of 5!!! and was stuck in an abusive adoption.... anyways, nearly there now..... thanks to nearly everyone....

Loopy i appreciate this is a sensitive issue for you, however you have to be prepared for what infact the rest of your natural family might think.

Of course you have a right to trace your natural parents i was not disputing that fact, you have already stated the difficulties you have faced throughout your childhood is it really worth causing yourself perhaps more heartache. by seeking out your natural family.

You and others may not agree with what i post but surely you can understand what i am trying to say isn't spiteful.

of course i have thought about it, to be honest its not about them, its about me, my rights & consequences of my mothers actions.... who cared about me and my 4 brothers or sisters all those years?

at the risk of repeating myself, i really only want medical history, photos and information to pass onto my dr and my daughter... and to see who i look like, have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered who you are and who you look like?

have you walked in my shoes, have you been adopted, have you ever been a vulnerable scared child in an abusive situation, if you have, then fair play have your say. if not please keep your negativity to yourself....

As in my previous post hun--you are not entitled to any money your birth parents may have left. You were adopted out and as such you are no longer entitled to anything.

  • Loopy have you contacted After Adoption? I feel you need some support with this in terms emotional support for you while they contact your birth mum on your behalf and also help you to find out any history/information you want/need. All your rights were taken away from you and your posts come across as quite rightly frustrated, slightly angry and obviously searching for all the whys and wheres so please don't handle this alone, get some support.

I hope you get all your answers its the very least you deserve.

    Take care
