  • Oh my goodness.....just to let you know....after talking with the credit card company......I have now had my refund from appliance-world......only six and a half weeks waiting!! Never again....they seem like a very disorganised company with no customer care.....I won't be shopping with them again and will be writing quite a few reviews of my experience to warn others....._pale_

I am glad you got your money back, it took me writing to them and copying the letter to credit card company to get them to refund and take the faulty dishwasher back...they are pretty much the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to use. Am glad you got it sorted in the end though.

OP, I got my washing machine + fridge freezer from Sainsburys online. They let me pick a delivery time at the point of ordering and the team (a nice lady and a bloke) moved both into the position of my choosing. Fabulous.

thats a great idea, in fairness their prices seem good and when things go right it seems ok...but from my experience when things go wrong you have to fight for your rights with this bunch of jokers!!!!!

wish I'd read this thread before ordering our fridge-freezer. Paid for a Miele before Christmas. They said they would get delivery first week of Jan and then be in touch re delivering to us. I checked on 2 Jan. They said delivery expected Monday 5 Jan. Since then silence. No response to emails. They don't answer the phone. Don't respond to phone messages. Left me wondering if they were having problems, so came looking here.
